Danseys Pass Lavender Farm Retreat (shepherds hut)

Enjoy a unique stay at our little Lavender Farm nestled in the Kakanui Ranges. Sitting adjacent to the main house, you'll find comfort in your self-contained shepherd's hut, complete with a private outdoor bath and shower. Take the mountain e-bikes for a tour around the surrounding countryside, jump into one of the waterholes on the property. This is an entire apartment with views to the Ocean. It is cosy and quiet and only 5 minutes from Oamaru but set in a beautiful rural environment. A new kitchen, a cosy loungeroom and private courtyard with barbeque and separate entrance. Tea, coffee, milk and basic supplies in the pantry, homemade bread and a sample of our own honey . Breakfast cereals provided . You will love it. A pleasant garden and views top it all off....while being handy to town.

Self contained bedsit.

Sunny, self contained rooms including separate kitchenette & bathroom with access to shared deck & garden. Own access, twin single beds & free ON STREET PARKING. No extra cleaning fee. I personally clean thoroughly and sanitise all hard surfaces, but expect you to clean, dry & put stuff away that you use where you found them. Bus is Myway, which you book & it picks to up close by or 25-30 minutes walk to town centre, 5 min drive. Supermarket 10 mins walk.

Buckley’s Retreat

We offer this unique tiny home with fantastic Ocean views. You can wake to the sunrise and watch the sunset at night all from your bed. We offer continental breakfast. Which includes eggs if the hens are laying. Outdoor spa, Complementary snacks and beverages. You may also bring your dog. 5mins drive to the centre of town. But have restaurants and grocery shops near by. Off street parking also. Just on the town boundary with a rural feel.

Indi Farms - A little bit country.

Our open plan Portacottage provides a comfortable and relaxing stay. As well as the basics to make you feel more than at home, we are also able to cater for your most loved pet providing they can sleep outside. There is lots to see and do, Ollie the horse loves carrots, the cats may come and visit, calves need patting and at times we have sheep and lambs to play with. We offer breakfast when stays are for a minimum of two nights

Timaru Central

Built in 1905, and converted to 2 apartments in the 1950's, we live in the other apartment. The apartment is located in Central Timaru, being 5 minutes walk from the central business area and the Caroline Bay beach and facilities. Fully self contained, it suits a range of requirements from a single person staying overnight, to a family wanting a longer stay. Caroline Bay is home to a local small 'Little Blue Penguin' colony.

The Shed and Breakfast

New Zealand's first Shed & Breakfast is the ultimate farm stay experience. The transformed shed is a quaint, self-contained accommodation with a rustic chic atmosphere. 210 hectare organic sheep, beef and crop farm. Enjoy organic home cooked meals! Based on the outskirts of Waimate township we have a detached modern guest accommodation on 4 acre lifestyle block, sleeps 5 comfortably. 10 minute walk into the heart of the town. Pet friendly. Sorry no kitchen available. Only basic toaster, kettle and bar fridge. BBQ available on request.
