Central to South Island action incl. snow and water skiing, tramping tracks, Maori Stone Art, beach surf fishing , swimming at Caroline Bay, rivers & lakes. 18kms south of Timaru which features world class sporting venues & a range of shopping experiences! Access to the local beach is 2.5kms up the road.

Our comfortable apartment is positioned right by the golf course with very pretty views of the surrounding mountains. Otematata is little town with easy access to lakes Benmore, Aviemore and Waitaki ,a short walk through stunning wetlands to the lake for fishing and swimming. It has an abundance of walking and cycling trails, a country Golf Club, Bowling club and A2O Cycle trail. A fully stocked On the Spot shop, park for the kids & tennis court is at walking distance from the apartment.

Otematata is a great place to have a base camp with wanaka, mount cook, tekapo all within 2 hours of a scenic drive away. Unit A5, Waitaki Lakes Apartments is a one bedroom fully serviced apartment in idyllic surroundings on the edge of the Otematata Golf Course with the Alps2Ocean cycle trail, walking trails and wetland areas nearby. The apartment has been refurbished with a new kitchenette & bathroom, double glazing and interior upgrade.
