Bamboo Bungalow

Our slice of paradise sits on 1 acre of manicured tropical orchard with over 40 varieties of fruit trees, a giant stand of bamboo, hundreds of orchids and herbs. Newly constructed unattached studio cottage with canopy queen size bed and super comfortable full size futon. Indoor bath with shower and outdoor bamboo shower. Brand new kitchen and an adorable lanai for enjoying the panoramic view of sunset or morning coffee. Our teak swing above the cottage offers a horizon view of the ocean.

The Butterfly Suite is perfectly located for easy access to the Hilo airport, downtown Hilo shops and restaurants, Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, Richardson's and Honoli'i beaches for snorkeling and surfing, Rainbow and Akaka Falls, Kaumana Caves, Boiling Pots, Hawai'i Botanical Garden, Lili'uokalani Gardens and more local attractions. Located in Volcano, HI- 5 short miles to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Sweet little studio cabin with outside bamboo shower- take a hot shower in the rain! (Please note there is no inside shower). Queen sized bed along with 32” TV, mini fridge, microwave, drip coffee pot and tea kettle. This place is small, but very cute! Tall ceilings with cedar tongue and groove. Small closet with a space to hang your coats. Indoor toilet and sink vanity in bathroom.

This quiet mountain hide-a-way offers peace and serenity in a rural location close to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park.
