We booked this place for 2 days ! Such a cozy cabin ! The hot tub and bbq were fully functional and a major part of the experience. Ed was great at communication and made sure we had everything we needed .

Well once again the Cabin turned out to be in excellent condition and I gotta say this was the best Birthday Weekend I've had ever. thanks Alisha for everything and the Birthday present was very much appreciated. already thinking about the next time.

We had such a great stay at Dan’s cabin!! We were 2 couples, friends getting together to stay 3 nights. We felt very comfortable & at home throughout our whole stay. All of the amenities worked great, everything we needed during our stay. Dan’s cabin is well stocked with dishes, towels, blankets, pillows and plenty of fresh bottled water. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare & enjoy meals. We had lots of fun playing cards & listening to the ‘Alexa’ command stereo music! One of our goals while here, was to do some ice fishing! We were successful one day & happy to enjoy a fish fry! A highlight for sure, was to enjoy the hot tub, which none of us have at home, so it was a real treat! Dan had the hot perfectly ready to go, we didn’t need to adjust any buttons at all. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us Dan, we had such a good time we just might be back one day!

We had a wonderful winter getaway at Eric & Listina's Zen Lakeview Retreat! Even though it was a brisk -30C in Gainford this weekend, the cabin was cozy and warm. The firepit was an absolute lifesaver and made our evenings truly magical - perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the snowy scenery. The lake looked beautiful, and while we couldn't take advantage of the paddle boats in this weather (understandably!), we can only imagine how amazing it would be to use them in the summer. We're already dreaming of coming back for a warmer visit! The cabin had everything we needed, and Eric and Listina were great hosts, ensuring we had a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful retreat, no matter the season!

Over our 3 night stay, we were only there for a handful of waking hours as we were in town visiting family. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was cozy warm, friendly neighbors, and having a turntable and selection of records in place of a tv was a wonderful change.

This was our third time staying at Briana’s and it never disappoints ! The location is amazingly peaceful and perfect for a great weekend away. We enjoyed a fun filled memorable New Years with our families. Thanks for being such a great host ! Highly recommend this location!

This cabin offers a very peaceful and quiet stay. The location is scenic, the view at the back of the cabin is beautiful. Regan is such a wonderful host who is available and helpful! There is everything you could possibly need for your stay and so much space. Regan has done an excellent job ensuring you have a lot of amenities and things you need. It was perfect for kids and our family. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back for sure. It was such a comfortable place to stay to get out of the city. I would highly recommend this cabin not only for the great host but for the cabin and surroundings itself.

My group with 10 friends stay for 2 nights, it is great location, went to the Wizard lake through the back yard. Cross country skiing, snow shoes walking, fishing, play games, a lot things to do. It was a wonderful stay, thanks host Al.

Our stay was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. We really enjoyed the large deck and the beautiful views of the lake. In the evening there was clear skies which were prime for star gazing. We will definitely book again.

Place is as described, spacious for a Large group , lots of bedrooms comfortable beds No AC but relatively cool during our stay and fans everywhere so no issues. The water isn’t all that clean for swimming nor is there much of a beach but that isn’t really a host issue, more just the lake itself. We did a lot of water activities just no swimming. They had everything you need in the kitchen, lawn games, a canoe, pedal boat and a Paddle board. Very responsive host who had staff close by if you needed anything. We brought our own drinking water.

Fantastic stay at Alberta Beach. Host made the experience a breeze; place was neat and tidy upon arrival, communication was great, and the host also went out of their way to make our stay extra comfortable. Great attention to detail, and highly recommend for stays in the area!

What a beautiful place. So relaxing and private. We didn't want to leave. The cabin is beautiful and so clean!! This getaway was exactly what we needed. So relaxing. We loved the wildlife. The horses in the neighboring pasture. Plus, we saw a woodpecker while walking the property trails. The bed in the loft was so comfortable we didn't want to get out of bed. We didn't even leave the property all weekend as it had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend it, and we will be back! It was only a 30 minute drive from the city but felt like a different world.

We used this rental for a place to stay while working in the community. It was beautiful and just what we needed to get some R&R after the work day was done. Would recommend to friends and family for a quiet get away.

Beautiful lake house with character, lots of comfort and feeling warm welcome. Furniture and house amenities with excellent quality. Internet not great but Tim helped and found a solution. We were there in cold winter days -23C and we enjoyed the house comfort, warm atmosphere and beautiful bedrooms. Only critic is there are some repairs to do at the front entrance due to lack of door stop as well as same issue in bathroom downstairs. Overall great experience for our family and recommend with thanks to Tim. Celia

Had a great experience at Jamie's cabin. was easy to find and had everything we needed in the kitchen. They had extra beach towels for the lake. We have a 5 and 3 year old and it all worked out great. Don't pack too much food. On Saturdays, there is a farmers market and there is a big selection of baked goods, fruit and veggies. We'd definitely stay again!

Kristen's place was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway and not far from Edmonton. We loved it! so peaceful and quiet. I think it was the best sleep I had in years. My 8 year old daughter loved the bunk beds! Kirsten thought of everything. We even saw a coyote walking across the ice on the lake. Definitely want to return and especially in summer time to enjoy the water and beach. We drove to nearby Calmar to get some donuts at the bakery. best donuts and brownies we've had! Also checked out the antique shops there. I highly recommend Kristen's place. You won't be disappointed!
