Volcano: soggiorni in cottage

This is a pretty and very well equipped house. Great for staying near the Volcanos National Park. It is private, restful and very comfortable. Great for short or longer stays.

My family enjoyed our stay here at Shannon's place in the rainforest in Volcano! I loved the attention to detail: shower slippers, pineapple accents, gorgeous furniture and artwork, cozy blankies in the living room, really comfy beds, and toys for kids. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and I appreciated the teas and coffee. The water from the taps tastes pristine. My favorite thing was soaking in the furo tub on the deck and listening to the rain and the coqui frogs sing. We spent 3 days exploring Hawaii Volcanoes NP and this was a perfect place to unwind after our days in the park. I also appreciated your suggestions on things to do in the park and places to eat. My husband & I enjoyed our stay here. Everything about our stay was PERFECT! The aesthetic, the surrounding, the atmosphere and vibe was outstanding! We only stayed for a night but waking up to the view of a rainforest was beautiful. The hot tub was amazing especially when used at night because the air was crisp and cold. Very relaxing and peaceful. 10/10 recommend to anyone who considers staying here. We will be back!

Gorgeous place to stay! Very conveniently located to VNP. The grounds were beautiful. The tub was a perk after days of hiking in the park. If we’re ever back in Volcano, we will absolutely book again. Thanks to the wonderful staff who were very helpful!

Truly amazing property. The blue cottage was awesome, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The spring fed tubs are really awesome, especially the jungle tub. We went almost every morning and evening. Truly amazing before sunrise. We will be back!

Amazing! Don’t let the secret out! Spent a week, felt immersed in culture/community experience. HOST elevated the whole stay w/ deep knowledge about area, flora, fauna, ecology, culture, mythology…..a hidden gem! He spent treasured time with us, making memories + solid friendships. He taught kids how to make leis w/ orchids; picked three coconuts in yard, split them, let us taste milk/meat in all stages; pointed us to local affordable spots - Wed nights at Uncle Robert’s, old lava flows overtaking roads/shores, great beaches/tide pools with sea turtles/cucumbers, farmers markets, waterfalls/boiling pots, hot pools, active/inactive volcano sites, fishing charter w/ Malama Charters (saw whales, caught Mahi Mahi); told of Pele’s tears & natives’ offerings, helped us feel the life of the island. Host and crew work hard & it shows. Want to take backyard and kitchen sink home! Beds, hot tub, cool pool, showers are perfect. Geckos, frogs, toads galore. Will be back! Until we see you again!

Kelly’s place was perfect. Quiet, private and lots of covered outdoor spaces with lots of room. The home was clean and had everything we needed. She even had a nice notebook filled with things to know and do around the area. We enjoyed our daily walks to the ocean and met lots of people enjoying the area. I would recommend Kelly’s place for anyone who wants to enjoy all that the East side of the Big Island has to offer.

We loved Autumn's jungle cottages and would recommend her place. Great for small groups with separate accommodations. Beautiful outdoor gathering bbq area and every kind of plants. highly recommend

Beautiful spot in the jungle near the volcano. Super private, jungle hottub was definitely the star of the stay. Communication was great.

Quiet, cozy place to rest after going out. Make sure you take time to view the night sky whenever you wind down. The lava rocks and the background is a surreal experience. The kitchen is well stocked and the bathroom is clean. There are plenty of coals if you want to bbq. Bring your own water and food supplies. The only con I have is mosquitoes. Make sure you have mosquito repellents. Thankfully, the beds have curtains over them. Don’t be like me and forget to utilize that before sleeping unless you want to wake up with mosquitoes all over.

Had a great time in this private and peaceful accommodation. Ashley was very friendly and responsive and provided us with privacy and easy communication. This place provides a unique and relaxing glamping style stay. It rained very hard the first night and sounded beautiful as it’s an open air room but still felt very secure and everything stayed dry. After the rain the coqui were plentiful so it may not be for everyone but I found it to be soothing and peaceful. My only recommendation is maybe to hang a mirror in the shower room or in the kitchen/bathroom area. Mahalo for a great stay!

The treehouse was exactly how it was portrayed. It was quaint and surrounded by beautiful foliage. It felt like a perfect escape from city life and the crowds at resorts. It was so close to Volcano National Park which made it easy to check out the park multiple days. The inside was clean and had a cabin feel with all the wood walls and wood burning stove. We enjoyed our 2 nights!

The place looks gorgeous with the plants in the garden and a nice looking relaxing living room. Our host is very welcoming and helped us with the luggage as well as greeted us when encountering us when we arrived. Loved the experience.

I truly wish I had more time to enjoy this Gem. I booked this trip a few hours before I arrived, so I could only do one night but it really is great and well thought out.

My husband and I stayed at for the first part of our Big Island trip at the cottage. The host was very friendly and responsive. The cottage was tucked back in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed the sounds of the frogs at night and the birds in the morning. The wild chickens/roosters definitely made their presence known. If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs or music (although we didn’t mind). The neighborhood was safe to walk to watch the sunrise over Paradise Cliffs. Location to other attractions was convenient with still feeling off the beaten path. The cottage was clean and comfy. I recommend this stay and would love to visit again. Mahalo to our hosts. :)

Aloha, this was our second time staying with Lisa. We love everything about her place and she is such a lovely person. We canʻt wait to be back!

This cottage in Volcano Village was soo cozy and beautiful! Staying here gave us quick access to the Hawaiian Volcano National Park (only about 15 min drive). The hosts gave us plenty of supplies for anything we needed. We had a bit of an issue with plumbing, but Aubrey was quick and got it taken care of efficiently. We would love to come back in the future 😊

What an absolutely magical place! I have two girls, 10 and 13 and the house was so cozy they didn’t want to leave. The house is surrounded by the beautiful jungle and flowers. It was an experience I will never forget. Thank you so much for sharing your special place with us, Laila. We will definitely be coming back!

The home is simply magic. The moss garden, the forest filled with ginger and flamingo lilies, the birds that sing us into peace that surrounded the home. Walkable to one of the most delicious restaurants, 5 minute drive to Volcanoe National Park. The beds were incredibly comfortable too. When I get the chance to return, I will definitely look to stay at the home again.

The Fiddlehead House was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room. Tastefully decorated. Clean and complete. We explored Volcanoes National Park during the day and spent very pleasant evenings in the Fiddlehead House. The ability to open the shower room to the rain forest was exquisite.

We had a great stay here, the place is wonderful and the hosts are very friendly. It's close to town and many nice places to visit.
