Vila do Maio: case vacanze con accesso alla spiaggia

El apartamento es muy lindo, cerca de la playa, es amplio, cuenta con una cocina con todos los utensilios necesarios para cocinar. Tiene un lindo balcón. Recomendable

Très sympas, calme on arrive assez vite à la plage ou en ville à pied.

We spent a week here and it was excellent. The house is basic but comfy. The property is very calm and since the studio is on a side path, not many people walk in front. The pool and it's view on the ocean and sunset is just breathtaking. The beach down a few stairs is super nice and easy sandy access to swim. When snorkeling you can spot some very nice fish and rock formation. The property is minutes away from the center, shops and food places. Make sure to try "Cha-cha Chicken" (location on G.maps, just 1 minute walk) and the tuna (atum) at the restaurant on the Fort José. The welcoming was great, the staff is very friendly. There was no welcome basket for us at arrival but it is not important. We got picked up at the port by someone with a Stella Maris sign (which is the name of the property). Pick up was fast and no issues there. Overall very nice stay and would recommend to anyone looking for peace, great swimming experiences and easy access to town.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Alessandro’s place. He and his wife were very welcoming, the house is beautiful and perfectly located. Alessandro was always helpful and kind and would happily answer questions, give recommendations and let me feel at home. Unfortunately, I could not communicate much with his wife because I don’t speak her languages. But she was patient with me when I tried to talk to her and was very kind, too. She is a great cook and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with them. I highly recommend this place and highly recommend having at least (!!) one meal with them :) I am already thinking about coming back because I only got to spend 3 nights there.

Stella Maris is a very well maintained conduminium. Many plants and flowers and well kept grounds. Our villa Atùn was on a corner with a nice terrace with sea views and very close to the pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Such a beautiful home! Incredible space, amazing value. Right on the water and within walking distance of the port. Love the roof terazza, wonderful housekeeper Nonna, so peaceful. Fall asleep to the sounds of the waves and wake up to the beach.

Die Unterkunft von Andrea liegt sehr gut, da es zum nächsten Supermarkt wenige 100 m sind sowie zum Stadtstrand eine gute Viertelstunde zu Fuß. Das Haus ist liebevoll errichtet, der Garten sehr grün. Unter dem Baum kann man im Schatten wunderbar entspannen. Dazu lädt der Grill ein, abends Fisch und Gemüse zu braten. Die Kommunikation mit Andrea lief problemlos, es gab sehr gute Tipps und auf alle Fragen eine Antwort. Klare Empfehlung!

Das Haus ist sehr hübsch, etwas ab vom Schuss, wenn es um Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants geht. Aber Jean-Christophe ist sehr entgegenkommend und unterstützt am ersten Tag mit dem Einkauf. Betten sind etwas durchgelegen.

A casa é ampla e espaçosa, muito bem localizada e com uma maravilhosa vista para a praia. Pela sua localização, acede-se à praia directamente e está a apenas 5m a pé do centro da Vila.

Le séjour a été parfait. Isolinda est une hôte bienveillante, accueillante et soucieuse de ses convives. Elle cherche à répondre aux besoins et envies des personnes. Je reviendrais sans aucun doute. Merci aussi à son oncle qui a été d’une gentillesse et disponibilité incroyable.

Superbe maison d architecte lumineuse et à la deco soignée. Le confort est simple : pas d eau chaude pour une douche vivifiante ( à laquelle on s’y fait bien), rangement à minima et lit au confort spartiate. Les discutions avec Alex ont été riches et sympathiques dans un français soutenu. Une très belle expérience!

El apartamento es muy cuco, limpio y cuenta con todos los utensilios, incluyendo detallitos como café de cortesía. Isolinda es un encanto, estaba pendiente de nosotras, preocupándose porque estuviéramos cómodas en el alojamiento y disfrutásemos de Maio. Además da muy buenas recomendaciones. Nos ha encantado la estancia ❤️

Il soggiorno a Maio è stato semplicemente perde , e questo è stato possibile anche grazie a questo alloggio perfetto sotto ogni punto di vista. La casa era esattamente come descritta (anzi, anche meglio!): pulita, accogliente L’host è stato impeccabile: gentile, disponibile e sempre pronto a darci consigli utili per vivere al meglio l’isola, scoprire spiagge nascoste e assaporare la vera atmosfera capoverdiana. Amazing! If you don’t stay here, you are missing out on a fantastic experience. Chris and Mona are incredible. such kind, generous and welcoming people. The meals they served us were so fresh and tasty, there are also lots of fun activities like snorkelling and fishing available here. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back again! Great Accommodation at Stella Maris! Location was excellent as well as the room, infinity pool and their private beach cove! 10min walk to beautiful Baxonha beach. Francisco was prompt and very attentive in replying to my messages. Would highly recommend, and definitely comeback!

Christoph and Mona, were outstanding hosts, and are with you every step of the way. The Beach location offers near perfect untouched nature, the ocean is rich with aquatic life, making the fishing truly amazing. The waves didn't calm during our stay so swimming wasn't possible, however it made the scenery even more spectacular. After spending time with Christoph I began to realise quickly how passionate and genuine he is about their chosen way of life, he is an asset to Maio and held in high regard. They ask nothing in return for all the help received during the stay, and truly enjoy the social company of good honest people, guests appear welcome to be part of their everyday life. Their dogs and cats are well behaved, we looked forward to seeing Lucy +1 each morning guests should appreciate you are living off grid and must be conscious of power used. your own wifi dongle would be recommended if it's essential you.
