The Cottage on Dewitt

Find your home away from home with us in our charming home nestled in the historic Fostoria Neighborhood. The Cottage on Dewitt is centrally located and is located just around the corner from the beautiful Fannie Willis Johnson Home, also known as Oak Hall B&B. You can explore antique shops, museums, and national historic sites, like the Vicksburg National Military Park. You will want to check out some of the nearby restaurants, casinos and indulge in everything that the city has to offer.

Locust Street Cottage

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Built in 1830 and lovingly renovated for now, it’s a slice of Vicksburg’s past. The Old Courthouse museum is visible from the back courtyard and the historic downtown is just a short walk. There’s a brewery and several unique restaurants just a few blocks away in the downtown with fun shopping close by. Casinos and the National Military Park are just a short drive. Has a desk, if needed and internet provided.

Built in 1922 by the son of a Civil War Veteran, this 2 bd/ 1b cottage with a large wrap around porch sits on almost 1.5 acres in the middle of the city. During the restoration we found letters and Vicksburg artifacts that are displayed throughout the home.
