We spent the most blissful Holi weekend with Ganesh and his parents. The sprawling 4BHK surrounded by greenery had my heart right from the word 'go'. Ganesh was extremely helpful in arranging for pickup, asking if I wanted dinner the night I was reaching or checking if I was comfortable. Ganesh's mom was the sweetest. Tai would flash us the warmest, brightest smile every morning before asking if we wanted tea. She also gave us homemade puranpoli on the occasion of Holi. The location is peaceful with Bhandarpule beach within walking distance. We also took an auto to visit the nearby temples, the Pracheen Konkan museum and Jaigad Fort. Anil kaka and his wife made the yummiest Konkani food for us at an extremely reasonable cost. Anil was also sweet enough to buy us Kokum or Mosambi juice whenever we went out with him. Ganesh gave us a beautiful gift hamper with cute little tasters of all things Konkan - juices, sweets, pickles, papads and what not. I can't wait to be back with my mother!

I recently stayed at this beautiful villa along the seashore, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The Villa: The highlight was definitely the spacious private balcony overlooking the sea. Waking up to the sound of waves and sipping coffee with that view was pure bliss. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and designed for comfort, blending modern amenities with a coastal vibe. Location: Nestled right by the shore, it’s perfect for a peaceful retreat. You can literally step out and walk along the beach at any time. Food: If you love authentic Konkani cuisine, this place is a dream. Every meal was a delight—fresh seafood, local spices, and home-style cooking that reminded me of traditional coastal kitchens. Hospitality: The hosts were incredibly pet-friendly, which was a big plus for us as we traveled with our dog. The staff offered excellent service—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.

No fancy hotel but this is a great rustic home stay!! This place has a lot of old world charm to it and we felt we were back at our nana-nani's place! The host's parents were absolute sweethearts and took care of all our needs. They even took us for a morning walk to nearby river! PS - 1) The place is a bit of a remote area with wrong direction on Google map. The host gave us clear instructions to reach the place. 2) Due to this been in a dense nature area, there will be a lot of insects around the place. Don't let this stop from enjoying yourself in this gem of a place.

Quiet and quaint is the best way to describe this place. Situated in the secluded parts of the village, this place is an ideal getaway from the everyday bustle and noise. This listing is an extended part of their traditional Konkani house . The room itself is compact, but has basic amenities. The property has 2 more a/c rooms in the same premise. The best part is the tree shaded backyard with its fence opening straight into the all private beach! The food (both veg and non-veg thalis) was mouthwatering and the best in the area. Do try fish thalis here! No need to go looking anywhere else. Mr Manish as well as the staff are very friendly and polite. They have 3 cute people friendly dogs which kept my 2.5 year old delighted and occupied :) Definitely recommended for people who are looking for a quiet, no-fancy homey stay.

At times there are certain things we see and experience and we feel like “What more one can ask for, from the universe?” We felt exactly the same. For us, it was a dream home, the dream which we have been dreaming for so long.. All of a sudden we realised that the dream has real face “River Breeze Home”. For a moment we couldn’t believe that this place actually exists. Breathtaking surroundings,Lush Greenery, stream of clean water running behind, Birds chirping around. And two pure souls our Host (Mr. & Mrs. Sawant) We were delighted and blessed to have such a wonderful property for our vacation. Konkan is supremely famous for its beautiful nature, food, culture and community. We experienced all of that at one place “River Breeze Homestay”

Perfect place for family of 4-5. private room with balcony and terrace access, clean room and bathroom too. Very peaceful locality, no traffic or noise. Caretaker is friendly and helpful. Good restaurants nearby and accessible to commute options on main road. Place is totally worth it and best to enjoy peaceful holidays. We felt not less than home. Recommended for everyone..
