Such a lovely place to stay with a group! We had a baby with us, so having a crib was perfect! The outdoor spaces are incredible. Highly highly recommend!

The location was great for exploring the western part of Shawnee National Forest. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband and me. The inside was very nice and looked as though it was recently renovated. The kitchen had the basics and enough items for what we planned to cook for the four days we were there. Sid, Patty and their three dogs were very welcoming! We would stay again if in the area.

We had the best stay at Sarah’s place. The location was amazing! The house looked just like the pictures! The space provided multiple options for to do while there. Sarah’s place provided us with everything we need and then some! I was completely blown away at the efforts put in! Not only did she provide the necessary things but She went the extra mile by providing things one may have forgotten to bring. And The welcome set up!!!!! From the goodies to the welcome book with all things you can find in the area. This was a big deal to me, I live in the area and some i didn’t even know about I know know because of that book. I’ve stayed many locations and if they had a welcome book it was as thoughtful as Sarah’s! It’s sure to get people who may be visiting SO IL for the first time everything they need to enjoy what this area has to offer! Including locals like myself! Book with Sarah! She’s a great host! She took the time to take my call while she was away to answer a question I had!

We absolutely loved this place from the moment we pulled in the driveway and walked in! They had a special made sign greeting us, and fresh bags of home grown lavender that one of the hosts grows herself which smelled absolutely amazing! This place was SPOTLESS clean and they even had water bottles in the fridge. Very quiet neighborhood with easy access to the main roads and lots of room for parking. The couch was extra comfy, and we all almost fell asleep on it before we even made it to the very comfortable bed! Having two different bathrooms was definitely accommodating when you have three different guys staying together in a place! Lol. Thank you for such a great experience and such a great day and we look forward to staying with you again sometime!

Dave's place was really great and we had plenty of room for our family, lots of amenities, and he left detailed instructions.

The Red Barn was a cozy and comfortable home. The location was perfect for what we needed; a quiet place and plenty of room.

I booked this house for family that was visiting from out of state. Check in was extremely smooth. The only snag was the key pad didn't function on the last night (battery died) but Penny was right there to take care of things. Staying here was much better than a hotel room as it gave them space to spread out.

Wonderful place for relaxation and time with family. The hot tub and sauna made it feel like a spa. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. Very comfortable home with areas to relax and watch the view. Nicely decorated. Beautiful view of the sunset from the dock. Lots of things to do in the basement to keep everyone entertained. Spacious kitchen for cooking meals.

As advertised, clean, nice place in the woods.
