Private cottage near Jokulsarlon & Skaftafell

This cottage is 35 m2 (375 sq ft). Great location if you want to be able to access Skaftafell National Park and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon without having an excessive drive in either direction. There's a 15 minutes drive to Skaftafell and a 30 minutes drive to Jökulsárlón and Diamond Beach. Great place to stay for those going on hikes or doing glacier tours. Best suited for a couple, a couple with a kid or a small group of friends. Maximum occupancy is 3 persons (regardless of age).

Original restored turf farmhouse in the highlands

Sænautasel gives you a opportunity to experience living as people did in the olden days in Iceland. You should therefore be aware that there is no electricity. Everybody is sleeping in “Baðstofan”, which the space over the kitchen is called in Icelandic. Breakfast and/or Dinner is available for extra charge. You need to book this in advance at least 2 days prior. If you decide to book 2 nights you should be aware that Sænautasel functions as a guided museum from 12-17 PM.

Snæbýli cottage 4

A warm and brand new house that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). It is 56m2 in size and is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom and then an open space where you have a fully equipped kitchen and living room with big windows and breathtaking view. We are 15 km from the main road and the house is in a peaceful place with beautiful mountain surroundings.

Álfhóll ( the hill of the hidden people)

On our honeymoon in Italy, one of our stays was a motorhome which promised us a romantic, memorable time. To make a long story as short as our stay there, we came home and I couldn't shake the feeling that I could do better. I hope te studio truck will leave you with good memories, romance and good rest. My beloved tiny Home

My beloved tiny home is a modern and cosy studio space. It has floor heating, Philips Smart TV and a kitchen. The kitchen has a JURA coffee machine, a refrigerator, full size stove and a dishwasher. The studio is 33m2 and has one bedroom with one double bed (160cm) and one single bed (90cm). The space is 33m2 & has a private: entrance, kitchen bathroom and living room.

Reynir cottage, Reynisfjara, black beach

A cozy two bedroom cottage located on the farm Reynir on Reynishverfisvegur 215, 7km away from the town Vík. From the terrace you'll enjoy a nice view over the black sand beach, Dyrhólaey peninsula and Mýrdalsjökull in all of its glory. The house suits perfectly for a family of 4-5 people.

Maddis 5 - near Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon

The houses are located 2 km from Fjaðrárgljúfur and 7 km from Kirkjubæjarklausturþ The houses are designed to be minimalistic, cozy and to enjoy the amazing nature that Iceland has to offer. If you're lucky, you might see the Northern Lights on a cold winter night

Hólshýsi - Hóls Cottage.

In Fljótsdal next to the farm Hóll in Norðurdalur is Hólshýsi. A cosy cottage that is surrounded by endless adventures and sounds of nature and wildlife. Close to countless highlights such as Hengifoss, Hallormstaður, the Wilderness Center and Laugarfell.

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
