Explore Bainbridge Island from a Garden Suite

Wake up from a blissful night’s sleep and step out for a morning walk in the fresh air and woodsy garden before breakfast. This secluded guest suite charms with its comfy furnishings, a full kitchen, and big glass doors opening to lush green spaces. Comfortable and modern, our walk-out level space features a bedroom with a dreamy bed, all natural bedding and walk-in closet. Natural light filters into every room. There are two outdoor patios offering space to lounge, dine and enjoy views of the Olympic Mountains, our gardens, and orchard. The bathroom has elegant limestone fossil tilework, and the kitchen/dining area is new and designed by cooks, for cooks. There is no indoor 'living room'. There is one (1) dedicated parking space and private access to your space by a path and steps (not handicapped accessible, sorry!) We have a cart for carrying luggage and are happy to assist. Sitting area in the orchard for sunset viewing and fresh vegetables from our seasonal organic garden may be available. A short walk connects you to community trails and a stroll through a neighboring vineyard (wine tastings too!). We're close to Rollingbay, parks, and yoga classes: mid-island gives you easy access to everything! We live in the main part of the house and love to share our home and island. We'll meet you upon arrival, and are available as needed during your stay. We respect your privacy. We have provided maps and notes of local places to see or enjoy. Hike and bike the trails just outside the door. Fay Bainbridge Park, Bloedel Reserve, and Bay Hay—a local icon with coffee, gifts, and locally sourced groceries—are all nearby. Downtown Winslow and the Seattle-Bainbridge ferry are 10 minutes away. Just ten minutes from the Seattle ferry, car rentals, taxis and buses are available from the ferry station. Depending upon your arrival time, we can assist with information. Driving is simple - it's easy to find. Kitchen has the basics like spices, coffee, and home-made granola for your first morning. Laundry facilities are available upon arrangement. Also, during gardening season we close our driveway gate at day's end for the night to discourage munching deer. It's not locked. If you find the gate closed, just push it open, pass through and kindly re-close it. Thanks!

Willow Studio Near Vashon Town - Pet Friendly

Relax in cozy Willow studio on the west side of the Cottonwood Farmhouse on Vashon Island. A full kitchen, bbq, portable a/c, electric fireplace, laundry, parking, and picnic area under a massive old willow make this property special. It is walking distance to Island Center Forest for hiking or mountain biking, and just 3/10 of a mile from Vashon town with fabulous restaurants, galleries, and wineries and breweries. Small dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee. NO CATS due to allergies.

Walk the waterfront or one of many local trails. Recreation: kayak, canoe and SUP rentals, sail boat and gondola tours. Horseshoe Lake public beach and Kopachuck State Park.

This separate entrance apartment is perfect for a getaway to beautiful Bainbridge Island. Less than 4 blocks from the ferry and the town of Winslow, you are in the heart of everything. We often say what we like most about our home is who we share it with. Note: Airbnb added a 15.5% service fee to my nightly rate. I don’t charge any fees, cleaning or otherwise. I want to keep stays affordable. Any platform-added pricing is determined by Airbnb. I wish it were different, but I didn’t get a vote

Cozy stay with Panoramic Puget Sound View

Fall is upon us and in Washington it is a beautiful time to soak in the changing of the leaves and the cozy season. Our Airbnb offers beautiful views of the Sound, Seattle, Mt. Rainier. We’re minutes from the ferry to Seattle and close to charming small towns. The walkable neighborhood offers a pub, library, food, and a coffee shop/convenience store, plus peaceful spots to stroll. Perfect for a quiet seasonal getaway retreat too. A very convenient spot to stay and hike to the Olympics.

Seward Park Studio | With Steam Shower

Our Seward Park Studio is part of a home that has been in the same family since it was built in 1956. Remodeled in 2015 and thoughtfully designed with a smaller footprint in mind, the Studio is steps from Lake Washington and filled with natural light from an east-facing wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. Despite its smaller footprint, it has a full kitchen, a queen bed with an organic mattress and Avocado topper, dining and workspace areas, and a spacious walk-in steam shower.
