Just a quick mile (3 minutes) to the interstate makes this place close enough to be convenient and far enough to be quiet. Or, instead of hopping on the interstate, just continue on into the heart of downtown Cedar Rapids for business or pleasure. Luxurious 12 inch memory foam mattresses on each bed for exceptional rest. When you're awake, there's a Keurig and high speed internet (100 Mb).

The Marion Square across from the library is a great place for live entertainment on Thursday nights. Newbo District in Cedar Rapids is just a 17 min, Cedar Rapids Medquarter is a 15 min.

Originally the first floor of a 1900 home for railroad workers in Marion, it is now a refurbished 2 bedroom apartment we call the Irish hill. Irish hill guests will have access to a .25 acre yard (unfenced). Only blocks away from uptown Marion!
