The Matthiol serviced apartments are very nice. The apartment has modern furnishings, large fully equipped kitchen and immaculately clean. Our unit had a view of the Matterhorn too. Portier service from the Zermatt train station to the apartment was included and much appreciated. Future renters should be aware that Zermatt is a walking town and there is a bit of a hike up from the street to the apartment. We were all able bodied, so it wasn't an issue for us, but for those less able, a place on the flat section of Zermatt might be a better choice. We figured out the best way to get to the ski lifts from the apartment and we carried our ski boots and then put our shoes in a backpack while skiing. There are lockers available if you don't want to carry your walking shoes. The hot tub, steam and sauna were nice to have after skiing, but be aware that you will need to reserve your one-hour time slot by signing the sheet when you arrive. I highly recommend the Mattiol apartments!

Overall a great place located in a pedestrian street and a literal stone's throw from Lake Geneva. Plenty of grocery stores (Coop, Manor, Migros), restaurants, and boutiques are within 5 min walking distance. Very relaxing at night as there's virtually no traffic around the block. The building is an older construction -- this is the historic town after all -- but the condos have been fully renovated, well-equipped, and practical to live in. If you're lucky to get a lake-facing unit, you'll certainly enjoy the view while dining or watching TV ... Be mindful that as much as the pedestrian lifestyle is fantastic, it is a challenge to find free long-term parking in the area.

Our stay was very comfortable, cozy and warm. Apartment is equipped with everything you may need, location is great and especially would like to express my gratitude to Anders and his speed to reply to questions - we arrived quite late in evening and Anders replied very promptly and was very supportive. I would definitely return here once I am again in Vevey. Thanks a lot!

We would like to extend a heartful appreciation to Stephan and his family. The chalet provided for an amazing vacation and allowed for long lasting experiences and memories. The views of the Matterhorn and the town were spectacular. Zermatt is truly a magical place with warm and kind people, and we would highly recommend this property. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans l’appartement parfaitement équipé de Raphaël. La literie est très confortable, y compris le canapé-lit , une vue imprenable sur les montagnes, le service hôtelier est un vrai plus. Raphaël est très réactif et arrangeant, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Mooi huisje in mooie omgeving. Inventaris is zeer compleet. Prettig contact met de host en reageerde supersnel. Echt een aanrader in Grachen!!!

Super accueil, a l'écoute, l'emplacement est parfait (4Km de Chatel et piste de ski juste à côté du chalet).

다시온다면 또 이곳으로 오고싶어요 짐을 계단으로 옮겨야 하는게 조금 흠이엇는데 하루묶다 가는게 아니라서 그정도는 괜찮앗어요 렌트카가 있다면 더 좋은 곳에여 걸어오기에는 힘들수도 잇어요 창문만 열면 나오는 그림같은 아이거북벽에 가슴이 벅찼습니다 좋은 집을 만나서 행복한 하루들을 보냈어요 정말 감사합니다

Parfait pour y passer la nuit lors d’un séjour en ski

Die Wohnung war mit allem Ausgestattet was wir benötigten, und noch vielem mehr ( Raclette-Ofen/ Käsefondue-Caquelon). Sehr schöne Raumaufteilung, 2 Badezimmer 1x mit Dusche und 1x mit Badewanne, tolle Terasse. Sehr freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption, wir konnten unsere Wohnung schon eher beziehen, da sie parat war. Schnelle Reaktion durch den Abwart bei Dingen die nicht funktioniert haben ( Skischuh-Heizung gängig gemacht und Abfluss entstopft ). Die Lage perfekt um nach Saas-Fee ins Skigebiet zu kommen, da die Bushaltestelle quasi vor der Haustür ist. Wir waren begeistert und kommen bestimmt wieder.

It was one of the most beautiful places I ever stayed. Views from the window were breath taking specially when it is sunny. Bathroom, kitchen and bedroom all spotless. But Lukerbad is a small place and shops for supply closes much earlier than at any other place. Also it would be better to be in Lukerbad in either winter or summer as there is much more to do.
