Nestled in one of the most beautiful villages in France, overlooking a rosegarden and river, down the lane from the Abbaye Chateau de Camon, our newly renovated gite combines the charm of a traditional stone house with a contemporary, spacious home, tastefully equipped to provide a perfect base for a holiday in this stunning area. Whether you want to spend your time relaxing or fill your days exploring the huge range of fascinating places nearby, you are surrounded by beautiful landscapes.

Chalet Salamandre

Geniet van de rust, het uitzicht en het comfort van dit stijlvolle chalet. Zeer geschikt als romantisch uitje of even bijkomen in de natuur met je gezin. Wij zitten op 650 meter hoogte, in een hete zomer is het altijd iets koeler dan in het dal en met een briesje, heel aangenaam. In de nacht koelt het meer af en is het lekker slapen. Een airco hebben wij niet nodig. Honden zijn welkom, € 15 per verblijf. Voor de winter is er een houtkachel. Wij leveren een kruiwagen met stookhout voor €15.

Charmant et spacieux appartement avec deux chambres, refait à neuf, dans une bâtisse de plus de 800 ans au centre de Mirepoix, au pied de la place des couverts, des commerces et des restaurants. Appartement très calme alliant tradition et confort moderne : wifi, TV avec Netflix, cuisine équipée, lave vaisselle, salle de bain douche à l'italienne, machine à laver. Located next to the Belgian owners’ farmhouse, it remains entirely private, surrounded by nature. During your stay, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting and a tour of the winery.

On the border between Aude and Ariège, Carcassonne and Mirepoix, in a natural environment, you can enjoy a 1.5 h, in peace and quiet. Here are plenty of walks to be had around the gîte, and if you enjoy hiking or cycling, this is the ideal place, with its footpaths and the "voie verte" ! Mirepoix, Carcassonne, Fanjeaux, Chalabre, Camon, the Cathar castles are close. To diversify your activities, the sea is just 1h20 away and ski resorts are only 1h away.
