Gag Barn hosts some spectacular views and scenery and can be accessed by stepping out of the front door. Based in the Peak District National Park, with an abundance of exciting cycle routes and picturesque walks. The barn is spacious, easily sleeping 6, with 2 double bedrooms and 1 set of bunks. Ashbourne (5miles), is known as the"Gateway to Dovedale", and is a delightful market town. Places of interest include, Carsington Water, Alton Towers, Dovedale Stepping Stones and Tissington village.

Quiet village getaway 20 mins from Alton Towers

This property was the old parish room which we have sympathetically given a make over. Lots of original features have been untouched. The photos do not do this property justice with its double height ceilings and huge log burner. A real hidden gem tucked away but close to everything. A great stay for those wanting a quiet couple of days or the thrills of Alton towers. Please note the sofabed is for under 15’ If you have 2 small children that don't mind sharing then we don't mind. Beautiful historic coach house conversion: The site was a coaching inn, where travellers changed their horses and stayed overnight. The main bedroom wing of the coach house was built in 1580 and the sitting room wing in 1740. The building was restored in 2018, and mixes rustic charm with contemporary design. We're 30 minutes from Alton Towers, 20 minutes from Shugborough, 40 minutes from Sudbury Hall, with its museum of childhood, and only 20 minutes from the museums of the Potteries.
