This self-catering accommodation really has all you need. It's fully off-grid, using water pumped from our dam and solar electric supply. 3 Bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. New additions include an outside firepit, some outdoor furniture for admiring the beautiful view, a gas heater for crisp winter days and some electric blankets to keep you toasty!

Vista Road Farm Cottage

Relax with the whole family on this working farm nestled in the bends of the Mooi River. Experience the peace of the meandering Mooi River, nature, livestock and overlook the quiet bustle of an active farmyard. Unfortunately due to ongoing biosecurity measures access to the dairy and cattle areas will not be allowed. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)

Drakensberg Dream

Enjoy nature & mountain views and forget your worries in this spacious & serene home! The house has three neat bedrooms, two with ensuite. The lovely Drakensberg mountains can be seen clearly from the wide veranda. The complex is very secure and has little trails to the dam. In this beautiful, clean complex is a grand lodge that has a small bar and restaurant that you are welcome to visit. Nearby, there is a tennis court, putt-putt and golf course, and many quaint places to visit.

Our farm cottage is situated on the Drakensberg escarpment overlooking the valleys of Van Reenen’s Pass. This farm stay 4 sleeper unit is fully equipped with all you will need to live, work or get happy. Hiking, fishing, strolling, swimming, bike riding and hanging out on the farm is what we offer. We are load shedding resistant with WiFi during the shedding but we have lovely candles and fireplaces for your entertainment… Bring a book, a journal or an easel and come and enjoy.

2BR Mountain Cabin

Surrounded by the Drakensberg mountains, our Rondavel is a 2-bedroom self-catering rustic cottage. Situated in the Monks Cowl area of the central Drakensberg. This cottage is off grid, perfect for hikers, trail runners and nature lovers alike, situated in a tranquil area. We have limited solar electricity, hot water and water straight from a nearby stream. We live simply and respect nature. The property is one of the highest private properties in this part of the mountains.

Nestled in the town of Winterton just below the Central Drakensberg is this lovely solar powered self catering cottage. King size bed (can be split into two 3/4 beds), WIFI, kitchen and undercover parking. Bathroom has a shower. A short drive away from a variety of sites, hikes and activities in the Berg. Coffee shops and restaurants within a few minutes drive. Please note: there is a private pool, for hosts only, that isn't fenced off..

eKuthuleni Glamping: Wooden cabin over the lake

Our wooden cabin over the lake offers a cozy and comfortable stay, with stunning views over the lake and the forests around the property. Enjoy the bird life of which there are a few species. You can enjoy the tranquility, or fish from the deck, or explore the nearby attractions. The cabin is self catering, semi off-grid equipped with a gas geyser supplying hot water to the shower, and we have an ensuite septic based toilet.
