We loved our stay here! Just a quick walk over to the base of Big Powderhorn, and very comfortable.

Our third year in a row staying here and like always everything was perfect. Matthew is a great host, very responsive and always helpful. The property is perfect, always clean and clear instructions on check out. Has everything a family would need. This will always be our go to BNB when visiting Alpena. Four good friends had an absolutely fabulous time at Viewpoint. We loved just looking out at the lake, each day was different - grey and windy, beautiful sunshine and calm and a bit in between. All magical. We had fun cooking together in the very well appointed kitchen and had great fires each night. We thought we might be snowshoeing - but no snow changed our plans - hiked at Tettegouche, walked the bike trail conveniently right across the road!! Enjoyed a wonderful sauna at Sisu + Loyly in Grand Marais - highly recommend! All in all a wonderful mini retreat. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

We had a blast! Close proximity to a chair lift. If there had been more snow, we could have skied straight to the chair lift.

Great host and location for a quick family stay. We really enjoyed the sheep and our interactions with bandit. House was great for us.

My group has been cross-country skiing at ABR for more than 20 years. We like to rent a house on the trails. This was our first time at Saari House. The second week in March was late in the season for skiing, but we skied in the mornings and snowshoed in the afternoons. Being right off the Blueberry Bluffs trails was nice. The house is charming, with lots of natural light. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a dining room table that seats 6. There is just one bathroom but that was fine for our group of four women. One bedroom is on the main floor, off the cozy living room. The second floor has the second bedroom, plus an extra room with a pull-out couch. It was nice to have plenty of large towels, and a washer/dryer in the bathroom. There is a small wooden deck around the front of the house. You enter through a mud room with plenty of room to store your boots and hang clothes. We look forward to a visit here next winter!

The house is exactly as described and very clean. The kitchen had everything we wanted for cooking. It’s a great spot if you’re skiing at boyne highlands or nubs nob. Check in and check out instructions were very clear. The check in time is 7pm which is a little late I think but Larry allowed us to check in a bit early which was great.

I have so many positive things to say about this home. Barbara is a fantastic host, her son is helpful and friendly. The home, pond, gazebo and acreage are amazing. Lots of trails just behind the cabin, connecting to state forest trails. This is our second time staying at Barbs place and will totally return in the future.

This place is rustic and quite comfortable. We especially enjoyed the additional storage space to keep all of our ski gear organized. There is an additional sink in the one bedroom, which was handy. We didn’t use the fireplace or sauna, but cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to do so.

I stayed this past weekend for a funeral. And I’d come back! Granted, I’m from Kingsford so I know the area. But this place is a little jewel. They even had a fire pit, with pre cut wood. What a thoughtful amenity! The host was responsive/ property clean. Everything an Airbnb should be. Kudos! 🙌🏻👍🏻 All said, a couple of minor small observations. -Dust the dining room chairs, especially the rails. (I inspected hotel rooms for 20+ yrs.). ☺️🤷‍♂️ -That sliding door didn’t instill confidence. -An electronic lock with a code would be awesome. -T-mobile internet. ($55 per mth). Nancy was very friendly and responsive when I had questions. Her place is very cute and close to the activities we wanted to do, skiing, hiking, rock hunting and good restaurants. I highly recommend!

The cabin was very nice and cozy. It had all the amenities that you needed and it was a great place for a quick get away!

The condo was clean, cozy and in a perfect location to enjoy all that Boyne mountain resort had to offer. It was only a short walk across the parking lot to the Boyneland lift which made it so easy to go back for food, dry gloves or a short rest. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this beautiful home! The place was clean, well-decorated, and in a fantastic location so close to ski. The owner was very kind and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The only downside was an issue with the hot water, which was a bit inconvenient. However, everything else about the stay was wonderful, and we truly appreciated the hospitality.

If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing get away Brandi’s place is a perfect spot. The accommodation were clean and you could see and feel the personal touches. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful getaway in the woods. We loved the sauna, wood stove, trails, and charm of the cabin. The kitchen was well supplied and it was a pleasure to cook there. Lovely sunlight throughout. We definitely hope to return.

Looking for a place that exceeds every single one of your expectations?! If so, book this place now. I booked it for a quiet, relaxing weekend for my bachelorette party with my Moms, sisters, and Aunt/Cousin. It was stunning and perfect. Brook and the rental company were always available - even before you knew you needed them! I always take my own sheets and pillow because….well, I’m a clean freak (that’s putting it moderately), but I didn’t use any of them. The laundry, bedding, and everything was so clean and neat, I didn’t feel the need to impose my own belongings where I normally would. The hot tub was an added bonus and we got our share of use out of it. My sister works for a pool/spa company and commented on how well cared for the spa was!! And just the overall layout - absolutely gorgeous in the fall. Book with Brook. You won’t want to leave, and you won’t leave disappointed.

Perfect for a winter getaway! Snowy trails on site made for great cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Fireplace perfect for relaxing after long day on the trails.
