Upper Peninsula of Michigan: soggiorni in loft

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Anna's place. The location is fantastic. We enjoyed walks along the lake and to town every morning. The private balcony was perfect for relaxing in the evening after our daughter went to sleep. There is a grill on the balcony as well. So glad we stayed here!

Zareena is always so accommodating! Her space is so convenient, clean, & perfect for a weekend getaway!

Kate and Scot have a groomed connector to the Rib Lake ski trails, which are some of the best we've ever been on. Forest Springs, Rusch Preserve, and Timm's Hill trails (plus a few others) can all be accessed via this trail system and everything is well-marked. Kate and Scot were such accommodating hosts. They kept us updated on the trail grooming and even had the sauna going for us when we were done skiing each day. At the same time, they were very respectful of our privacy. The loft itself is cute, cozy, and very comfy. We had everything we needed for our short stay. Details like aromatherapy sprays, herbal teas, and thoughtful lighting really elevated our time in the loft. The bed was very comfortable and, a big plus for us, there were lots of cozy places to curl up with a book. Overall, we had a wonderfully relaxing and fun time. We felt like we were at our own private XC ski resort. Highly recommend for a winter getaway.

Airbnb was in a great location and was easy to communicate with Jim on anything that was needed while I was there.

We are avid travelers, and our stay here was perhaps one of my best Airbnb experiences to date! The apartment is gorgeous - so well done and decorated with a great mix of modern and retro. The kitchen is to die for if you’re looking to cook and eat in (which we were) and it is well equipped with everything one would need. The beds were super comfy and the linens were all really nice. The location cannot be beat - right on Front Street amidst all of the shops and eateries. I was worried the place might be loud being right in the center of everything, but it was actually extremely quiet. If I ever return for a visit to Traverse City, I will be rebooking here. It really is a step above!

Great place to stay that is close to restaurants and things to do in Traverse City. House was very clean and for the price is an awesome deal. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Heather's place during a spring break ski trip to the U.P. We loved it because it was spacious and a great place to relax and feel at home after skiing. Really elegant and fun decor, fantastic view out the back overlooking the rooftop garden and a wonderful hot tub complete with a sliding glass door that you could open a bit for that indoor/outdoor experience. Beds were SUPER-comfy and there was plenty of closet space. Heather was super-responsive to our few questions and also provided some great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to check out. We spent most of our time skiing, but we did walk around downtown a little bit and grabbed dinner to go just around the corner at Suffolk Street Eatery one night. Overall it was a great stay and we'd recommend it to anyone!

This was our first time booking with Mark & Teresa. We arrived after dark, it was difficult to see the house numbers. There was coffee and creamer provided all ready for the following morning. The place was great! We traveled as a family (with 8 y.o. and 3 y.o.) The boiler heat kept the place toasty warm in the middle of a very cold winter week. The shower was wonderful! We used the laundry and it worked perfectly. Note: there are many stairs for those that may have difficulty with stairs.

Great spot for a quick weekend away! We loved the breakfast spot right around the corner. Beds were comfortable and the dark shades were appreciated! We had neighbors in the big house but would have never known. We will be back!

Close to downtown and lots of activities. Great location close to the water too. I would stay here again!

The place is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and Boyne City is a charming town with lots to offer.

It always feels like home there. Very well maintained, incredibly friendly hosts. Just a great spot!!!!
