Indulge in the tranquility of The Carriage House. This lovingly updated space features an open-plan living area, contrasting textures and patterns, chic furnishings, kitchenette, and shared access to the lush backyard with a fire pit. Come and enjoy Texas sunshine through the gracious windows on all four walls of your private apartment. Please be assured that surfaces in this space are cleaned with CDC approved disinfectants. All towels and bed linens, including bed spreads and blankets are laundered between guests. Spray Lysol is available for your added convenience. Elegant and comfortable, the Carriage House is centrally located, right at Central Expressway and Mockingbird, excitingly close to all the fun restaurants, bars, shopping, theaters and museums in Dallas. You won't find a better place, either for comfort or location. In addition to the queen size bed, the couch folds out to accommodate another person. Everything you need for a visit, long or short, is available and handy. Arriving late for check-in? No problem, there's an electric lock on the door, so you can check yourself in, as late as you want. Newly remodeled, the Carriage House is on the second floor of a separate building behind our home. You'll have your own driveway for parking, a private guest door to the garden, and then a keyless entry on the door of the apartment. -Microwave, full under-counter refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, toaster -Smart TV with HBO, Netflix, all local cable channels -Wifi -Polk Audio Digital Radio -Sound machine -Lots of windows -High quality queen bed -Public transportation is only a few steps away We love our neighborhood and look forward to sharing our experience here with you. We live on the property, but work and play keeps us away for a part of the day. The property is located just a few blocks from SMU and some of the more popular entertainment areas in Dallas, including Greenville Avenue, Knox-Henderson, Mockingbird Station, Uptown, and Snyder Plaza. Come and enjoy being in the most walkable area of Dallas. The Grenada, for example, is only a few blocks away. No worries over parking or catching an Uber. You can walk there in 5 minutes. If you are flying into Dallas and don't want to rent a car, you can get to The Carriage House many different ways. DFW: The most economical way is to use the Orange Line on DART, accessed from Terminal A at DFW. Get off at Mockingbird Station. From there you can walk 15 minutes south to the Carriage House, OR take DART bus 24 Via McMillan. Stop at Morningside Ave. We are only steps from this corner. Love Field: You can also access the Orange Line on DART, however, you'll have to take the Love Link Dart bus to Inwood/Love Station. From there, the directions to the Carriage House are the same as above. Also, check out SuperShuttle, a shared ride service from either airport. As always, there are taxis, Uber and Lyft. I'm a traveler at heart, and although I get excited about planning my next adventure away from home, I think it's safe to say that Dallas is a wonderful vacation destination. We have some of the best food in the world, a proliferation of sports and music venues, great theatre and other entertainment events, a lively art scene and tremendous shopping! I love my city, come see us! Charming 'M Streets' Guest Cottage

The Cottage was built in 1937 and is located behind the original home, adjacent to the garage. The renovation to the space was just completed in July, 2014. The space is very cozy and offers a full kitchen, bath, living area that can also offer additional sleeping with two twin beds. The new renovation also includes a sleeping loft with a queen size bed.You will find plenty of storage in a beautiful vintage wardrobe. The space has wireless internet access. The coffee shop/diner two blocks away also has free wifi. If you need to do any laundry, we suggest nearby bundle laundry service or laundrymats. We will launder sheets and towels once a week. Parking is on the street in front of the house. Outside you will find your own private seating area with separate access from the main structure. Our property is located in the heart of the 'M' Streets off of Lower Greenville. The area was established in the 1920's and is full of restaurants, bars, shopping and live music. The property is very centrally located with easy access to downtown, the arts district, White Rock Lake, The Arboretum and much more! If you would like to utilize public transportation, you can hop on a bus at the end of the block, and the rail station is just 5 minutes away. Nice! Between Greenville & Lakewood, near SMU.

Welcome to this peaceful and centrally-located half duplex. This classic Dallas neighborhood features walking distance to restaurants, shopping centers, and a grocery store. A 5-10 minute car ride takes you to SMU, Mockingbird Station, Downtown/Uptown, the Arboretum, Lower Greenville, White Rock Lake, and Baylor Medical Center. Be sure to explore Dallas's many fine museums, libraries, theme parks, and green spaces. Or take a 30 minute drive to Arlington, where the Cowboys and Rangers play!

The Cozy Owl Cottage - So Close to So Much

This sweet cottage is best suited for a single or couple wanting to relax and experience Dallas from a local perspective around White Rock Lake. So close to Downtown, Lower Greenville, Deep Ellum, Dallas Arboretum, NorthPark shopping and SMU. Right around the corner is a public recreation center with tennis and pickleball courts. Plus 5 minutes to any major highway. Stay in a quite neighborhood and relax. We appreciate our guests and try to make each guests experience special. So fun to host!!

Luminous Lakewood Studio Near White Rock Lake

My stylish studio is located in the heart of Lakewood, a neighborhood that is walking distance from White Rock Lake, a short drive to the Arboretum, and 15 minutes north of downtown Dallas. Enjoy birdsong in the morning and the hooting of owls at night in this peaceful neighborhood. You may even meet an armadillo roaming through the yard. Read a book over your favorite drink, go for a walk down the street, or just relax in this peaceful abode. NOTE! All of the blinds close fully, for privacy.
