We have been well taken care of from the moment we arrived (they picked us up after we got out the bus) to our departure (they also went with us there). They have supplied us anything we requiered for cooking outside, shared some homade turon, cracked open coconuts, etc. We had a lot of fun renting the karaoke and swimming in the ocean. We made friends with the black duck there. I highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our trip. The house itself was perfect for our group of 12 (including 2 kids and a baby). All four rooms were spacious and comfortable, even this one room has its own fridge. The place is peaceful and quiet, and the beach was absolutely beautiful—very clean with no trash in sight. One important note for future guests: to get to the house, you’ll need to walk down a steep cemented staircase. It’s well-built, but it can be quite a workout, especially when carrying things. I wouldn’t recommend it for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. If you’re bringing a lot of items, it’s best to hire porters (P150 per trip, and worth it). Also, using backpacks instead of suitcases will make the trek much easier. Do some rest stops while going down or up the stairs. All in all, it’s an excellent place to stay. The peaceful surroundings and beachfront location truly make it worth it.

This is the best thing we've tried here on Airbnb. We had a great stay. The location was great, it's on the other side of the crowded spot in Maniwaya Island. Jack and nanay Alona made us feel so at home. They accommodated all our needs, from drinks to rice and everything else, not to mention that their pricing is so low as well! Most of it were even cheaper when you compared it to the prices here in Manila! Their drinks are so good too, they even offered our whole group a free drinks! There's a lot of good and IG worthy hang out places here, we so love the swing by the bar and the bean bag inside the kubo!

Casa Amara is a scenic place. Both of our rooms have a great view of the sea. The food is great and you won't surely go hungry after each meal. Plus the staff is very accommodating and kind. Tip for future travelers, bring chips and snacks of your preference, they have a snack corner but I think it's more sulit if you bring your own. Also, the off road ride going Casa Amara was a bumpy one better to bring an SUV. But the whole experience with my friends was a smooth and great one, even it was a weekend and other guests had checked in, it felt like we had the whole place & beach by ourselves.

We were in mesmerized with the ambiance and cozyness of the place. It is really a home away from home. Even I lost my phone, the caretaker did communicate well with us and got my phone back because of their honesty. Despite of the unexpected circumstance, we loved and enjoyed our stay. Definitely will come back and recommend it our friends.

I actually booked this place for my parents and their friends. They didn't mention any negative feedback about the house except for the poor wifi signal. The heat index during this season especially in the afternoon is quite high that's why they just spent the entire afternoon inside the house where airconditioning is available inside the living room. This place is recommendable if you are looking for peaceful place where you can bond with your friends/family however, the place is not yet commercialized unlike in other beaches where there are lots of nearby restaurants, pubs and grocery stores.

Since covid happened, our family has not been able to set foot on a beach because my youngest is not yet vaccinated. We chanced upon Lyn’s place in airbnb and booked it since the description fits our requirement perfectly (beach front, yet private). Love that what was shared in the photos was exactly what we experienced when we arrived. The place is so homey and comfortable and the beach was naturally beautiful. There’s a bit of a climb to get to the rooms, but in return was a wonderful view of the ocean. On our 2nd night, we opted for fresh air and turned off AC, which made us sleep more comfortably. The kitchen was also fully equipped and loved the fact that quick runs to the market can be done by the caretakers should you forget some stuff. We were able to maximize the kitchen equipment and they even served brewed barako! It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay, exactly how we envisioned it. Thanks to Lyn for opening up her vacation home for us to enjoy, even just for 2 nights. We look forward to our return in summer 2022.

The place is perfect for relaxation and gathering with friends and family. It offers easy access to the beach, complete kitchenware, and a great air conditioning system. It's also helpful that they have clear signage along the road, especially since the signal can be weak nearby. We truly enjoyed our stay, and the price is definitely worth it.
