Elena’s home is a wonderful getaway with beautiful views of a gorgeous lake. We were looking for a place close to Chicago where we could unplug from our busy weekdays and enjoy a relaxing weekend of hiking and this spot was perfect. It didn’t feel like we were only an hour outside the city. Waking up to the view and the sound of birds in the morning, along with the temperature-controlled dome, was truly special. We had a cozy night in playing games, grilling, and sitting around the fire pit. The kitchen was well-stocked, clean, and free of unnecessary clutter, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. The bathroom and linens were pristine, with all-white towels and bedding—a detail we really appreciated. The no-shoes policy added to the cozy, clean atmosphere of the home. The location was also ideal—just a 15-minute drive from the dunes, and the included seasonal parking pass was a great bonus. Overall, our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and exactly what we were hoping for!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Michele and Phill's house. The Villa is truly amazing - beautiful inside and out and a stellar location. The outdoor space alone is worth the stay - on the lake with wonderful views and options to enjoy the outdoors. But the inside was where we really enjoyed our stay - lovely rooms to enjoy the views of the lake, all beautifully presented. Michele and Phill had thought of everything. We were celebrating our daughter's high school graduation and the house comfortably welcomed nine guests. We highly recommend and will be back soon!! And Goshen itself is wonderful. Antique stores, a fantastic second hand record store which took my back to my youth (!) and Goshen Brewing Company is fantastic.

Had a wonderful stay! Scott was very quick to answer any questions I had, prior to arriving. He also reached out during our stay, just to check in/ask if we needed anything, which was very kind and thoughtful. The house is adorable and cozy! The entertainment/movie room was everything and made us want to duplicate the setup at our own house! We are local to the surrounding area and usually visit the area in the summer, but this was a perfect spot for our son's 10th winter birthday celebration! ❤️ PS - the trains didn't bother us! They are quick stints and we thought it was cool/fun to listen for their arrival!

Very nice place right by the Indian Dunes; property is very nice with lots of great landscaping, outdoor furniture and open spaces. Outside had a large 8+ person hot tub, grill, upscale fire pit, nice landscaping/frog ponds, and lots of deck space/lawn space. House itself was very well appointed and clean -- worked great for our group (6 adults, 8 kids). Mark was quick to respond whenever we reached out.

It is the perfect place for our family with lots of space. We love the yard for the kids to be able to run around. It is also close enough to downtown to walk. Joe is very responsive and accommodating.

Our hosts were amazing! They took us in with a warm welcome and support after we were in immediate need of housing. The amenities were excellent from coffee to toothbrushes, dishes and linens. They had everything we needed to walk in and get a good night's sleep. We enjoyed the view, sunshine and time together with our family.

2nd time staying. Very quiet location. Really love the living room space. Very comfortable.

Great house for the value! Clean and lots of amenities! Wish we visited in summer as fenced backyard is great! Stairs to second floor are steep but in good condition with handrail! There are local trains that are present throughout the day/night, but their sound didn’t bother us 😊 Overall a great value and lovely vintage home! Host was very responsive and friendly! Thank you!

My wife and I loved our stay!! One of the most relaxing and peacful stays we've ever had. Stone Lake is an awesome backdrop and Laporte offers everything you need! Thanks again!
