The Cobb Lodge, built using local organic materials as a place of tranquility & reflection, is on our 2000 Ha Sherwood farm that has been in our family since the 1850s. It's a wonderful safe place where guests are invited to walk, run or cycle the many paths, bathe in the sparkling Karkloof river and tributory streams, or simply re-energise in the clean air and soak up the African sun on a working farm. Relax with the whole family on this working farm nestled in the bends of the Mooi River. Experience the peace of the meandering Mooi River, nature, livestock and overlook the quiet bustle of an active farmyard. Unfortunately due to ongoing biosecurity measures access to the dairy and cattle areas will not be allowed. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)

The Little A Frame a cosy tiny cottage in KZN, SA.

You'll love this unique, romantic escape. The cottage has a loft bedroom with views of the valley below it. It is accessible via a metal ladder. The downstairs has a kitchenette, lounge and shower/toilet. There is a gas top stove, microwave and small fridge. A front room has been added, with a day bed. The farm are walking, fishing, picnicking, and bird watching. We are pet friendly but do not recommend this space for children. The Midlands Meander is close by for more adventures

The Igloo Cottage

Thatched country cottage situated in the Rosetta area (halfway between Nottingham Road and Mooi River). The carpeted cottage (close to our home) with a private entrance, consists of: - a bedroom (double-bed), - lounge, workstation, lounge chairs and sleeper-couch, - kitchenette and - shower area. Private courtyard with a patio table and chairs. Situated on a small holding with the Mooi river 250m from the cottage. Guests will be able to paddle on, walk or rest at the river.

Ruach is a light-filled 1-bedroom riverside cabin with a queen bed, surrounded by open skies and nature. For guests with pets, there is a convenient fenced area. Wake to birdsong on a peaceful farm near Nottingham Road. Pets allowed by prior approval at a fee R100 per pet per night. Please message with details (breed, size, number) when booking. A R500 refundable pet deposit applies & will be returned after check-out, subject to cabin inspection.

Rainbows End Country Escape- Bushbuck Cottage

Our 20-hectare farm provides the peaceful surroundings needed to truly unwind. With forests, dams, and supplied firewood for those chilly winter nights, there is something for everyone. Bushbuck cottage has a queen bed and 2 single beds, and suitable for 4 guests. However, additional beds can be added for kids. The farm is situated 30 minutes outside of Howick, on the midlands meander. High clearance vehicles recommended on our farm roads.
