Uganda: soggiorni in hotel

One of the most unique Airbnb's I've ever stayed in. David transformed a tiny island on Lake Mutanda into a little paradise. Beautiful room & views, great food, lovely family. Perfect location to hike volcanoes or visit the Mgahinga National Park to see Gorilla's or Golden Monkeys.

Silver's camp (Nshonji Camp) is my favourite place to stay for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It is located right on the forest edge in a hidden valley - very close to the Rushaga gorilla tracking start point (10 minutes walk - closer than any other lodge/camp) but completely secluded and peaceful. It has excellent bird watching and you may also see squirrels, monkeys, sitatunga antelopes and if you are lucky a forest elephant! The camp has recently been completely upgraded - it now has electricity and fabulous ensuite rooms and a wildlife viewing platform. Great food and service. Any review written before 2022 needs to be ignored because the place is now completely different. If you are tracking gorillas at Rushaga or want a base for bird watching, nature, forest and more then please visit Silver's Nshonji Camp.

Great place with a home feel touch and not as boring as most hotels. A special thanks to the staff Andrew and Denis for being super efficient, always ready to help the customer and both having a great personality. We all know working in a hotel is not always easy, especially if you have a few stubborn or high demanding customers that all for a not so high salary that is common in the service industry, but for Andrew and Denis everything is done with a genuine smile no matter what time. Absolutely a pleasure staying in the hotel but for sure these two guys make your stay special! Thanks, Erwin

The lodge is incredible. Set next to the Bwindi impentratable rainforest, ensured you get spectacular views and amazing sunsets. The lodge is in quite a rural location and is definitely a peaceful place to stay. The camp fire at night and the beautiful surrounding make it a wonderful place to stay. I'd definitely recommend it as a unique place to stay.

Sowedhi’s property is a wonderful place. It is very clean with hot showers and a great breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring the city, but far enough away to feel peaceful. The setting is well thought out with beautiful plants and tress surrounding the property. The breakfast is fantastic and we very much enjoyed the pancakes, fresh fruit and great coffee. Sowedhi and his team make you feel at home and answered all our questions about the area. Sowedhi helped us with planning days out and we really enjoyed visiting the caves and waterfall near by. Would highly recommend this place for a visit to Fort Portal.

Very pleasant and stylish accommodation with great service and good food in a beautiful location. Highly recommended to all travelers, a good choice also for families with children.

Abbiamo alloggiato al Richy hotel per 5 notti, ci siamo trovati molto bene. L'alloggio é semplice e di poche pretese ma c'é tutto quello che serve, camera pulita, acqua calda, cibo buono. Richard é stato molto disponibile, abbiamo potuto contare su di lui per organizzare i nostri spostamenti last minute. Ringraziamo anche Rachel per la sua simpatia e grande disponibilità.

A really nice guesthouse in a convenient location for restaurants and the Link Bus. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great grassed courtyard and tasty breakfast. Overall very pleased and would return.

Wunderbare Unterkunft. Nicht ganz einfach zu erreichen, weil der Zuweg etwas wild ist! Lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall! Supernette Leute! Bildschöne Umgebung!
