We had a really lovely stay in South Shields and are very grateful to Elaine for her warm hospitality — and to Colin as well for his kindness. The apartment was spotlessly clean, really well-equipped, and cosy — a perfect home-from-home. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful touches Elaine had included to make us feel welcome, from the essentials to the extra little treats. Elaine was also very responsive and helpful throughout, which made everything straightforward and relaxed. Her attention to detail and genuine care really showed. On top of that, a kind offer of practical help at the end of our stay was very much appreciated and made a real difference. The location was ideal for us, and overall it was a wonderful experience. We had a great stay. The apartment is beautiful, immaculately clean and so well located for Cullercoats seaside and Whitley Bay attractions. The decor is beautiful and has been done to a very high specification- it is even nicer than the photos. We would recommend Riley’s Fish Shack (or course), Jam Jar cinema in Whitley Bay attractions- a wonderful independent cinema with a lovely lounge bar, ferry from North to South Shields and the Cullercoats Coffee cafe around the corner. Awesome apartment! Ideal for a small family getaway or like me couple of contractors working away. Apartment was spacious,clean and a 2 min walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants food outlets even closer. it really is Ideal 👍

We stayed 3 nights in Karens apartment. The apartment is nice (perfect for 2 couples). The location is very nice, close to the beach, an easy walk into Sunderland centre, easy access from the Metro and a bus stop close by. Many pubs and restaurants in the area. We would like to comeback back to this apartment.

My partner, young kids and I had the most wonderful Easter break at Vikki's place. We really appreciated the super calm and understated luxury vibe to the home and all the attention to detail that had gone into creating such a welcoming and well-thought out space. The cottage is TARDIS like with the traditional frontage giving no clue to all the airy space and mod cons inside. The location was also very special: a stone's-throw from the beaches. attractions and shop for essential in a lovely car-free street but with parking very close by. Check-in and check out were streamlined and Vikki was such a kind and thoughtful host leaving us basics in the fridge together with some local sweet treats; very welcome after a very long drive up. She was also really accommodating in allowing us a later check-out. Thank you so much Vikki for sharing your amazing home with us and we hope to get the chance to enjoy it again next time we are up!

Very cosy home. Plenty of room, very comfortable sofas and bed. Lovely touch of fresh bread, croissants, milk and fruit. Instructions for TV etc were very clear and recommendations of where to eat were very helpful. The house was very near the beach area and also the Metro to Newcastle. We would definitely recommend this home for anyone visiting the area.

John & Joanne’s place is relaxing and homely. They gave us fantastic recommendations and were super responsive. I would definitely stay again!

Spotlessly clean property. Joan was a very responsive and friendly host. Tea, milk, biscuits and coffee were provided. Plenty of hot water. The neighbourhood was very quiet which allowed us to have a peaceful stay.

Rashida and Colin are a great team and made us feel very welcome. The annex accommodation around the courtyard garden was perfect for us and very comfortable for a 3 night stay. It's a nice touch having samples of Colin's photography on the wall. The metro and Aldi are both about 10 mins' walk away which was convenient for us to get the one stop to Tynemouth or longer trip into Newcastle. We'll definitely be back - many thanks.

This place is amazing. where to start really! Ian is a great host and very accommodating, kept in touch really well and the advert is really accurate. 3 huge bedrooms . 2 with double bed 1 with 2 x single beds but the single beds are a good size and were slept on by 2 x tall 17 year old.lads. fully equipped kitchen stocked with tea. coffee,,milk , biscuits,juice there's even pasta in the cupboards and more. the lounge is a great size with a nice TV, pretty sure sky glass was set up as well 2 x lovely sized bathrooms , really clean and just an absolute brilliant place. we were fortunate to get a space bang outside which is right opposite the metro station, nice little pub called the ticket office inside the metro station, hosts also lovely.. all in all, we drove over 250 mile .to get there and it was a very welcome place to sleep for the night.. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and Ian is the perfect host if your looking to stay in this area this is

Great place to stay, house is lovely esp with the additional luxury spa amenities. Massage chair is amazing. Wish we had stayed longer. Welcome pack was also great. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. Lovely accommodation, nicely decorated. Was within walking distance to sea front. Host was excellent, gave us lots of information about local facilities. Kitchen well kitted out to make a family meal. Would definitely stay again.

Great location overlooking the beach, really nice kitchen / living space which makes the most of the fantastic view. We caught the train, apartment is an easy 15 minute walk from the metro station - walk the last bit through Roker Park, it's very pleasant.

You will not get a better place to stay! This place has it all- I didn’t want to leave as it’s so special. We only live about 4 miles away but will definitely book as we loved seaburn and roker. I have so many ideas for my home - inspired from this apartment Truly stunning 😍
