200 year old Gardener's cottage, Mid Wales

Dan y Coed means 'under the trees'. Our cottage has nestled under the wooded hillside of Tan yr Allt for 200 years. The cottage is on the outskirts of Llanidloes, a 10 minute walk to town. We pride ourselves on guest satisfaction and the cottage is equipped to a high standard. We welcome all people and well behaved pets (downstairs). Come, enjoy the opportunity to walk, cycle, sail, fish or just relax. We are eco friendly in every way possible. Caring for the planet and guests a top priority.

Bryn Derw annexe is a beautiful studio with stunning views over the Severn Valley, with a large south-facing patio. We have numerous walks on our doorstep, a 3 minute stroll to the River Severn and are a stone's throw from Llandinam Gravels Nature Reserve. We are also approximately 1 mile away from Plas Dinam Country House. It has a fully equipped kitchen, king size bed and large comfortable chairs - perfect for a short break or longer holiday. A converted railway goods wagon (c.1900), rustic and simple, with stunning view over our organic farm and uninhabited valleys beyond. Basic kitchen - Loos and showers in the farmyard or own compost loo alongside. This farm is host to a community of volunteers from all over the world and you will be welcome to get involved in our way of life - close to land and seasons, or enjoy seclusion in a place that radiates peace and vitality with unpolluted night skies.

The Shed, Galedrhyd, Elan Valley

The location of The Shed, Galedrhyd is truly unique. Step outside the door and you have walking access to 70 sq. miles of the stunning Elan Valley Estate and beyond. The Elan Valley is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and therefore the lakes and countryside are protected and provide a sanctary for an abundance of wildlife and nature. The valley also has International Dark Sky Status. This is all available to you without using your car!

My place is close to RHAYADER and THE ELAN VALLEY also adjoining THE GILFACH NATURE RESERVE. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the peacefulness of been able to have the freedom to walk and explore our hills of mid wales, straight from your door..and only 45 mins to visit the seaside of Aberystwth.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
