Linda and Matt are so responsive. I asked for a few odd recommendations and they got right on it and sent me a list. The place is very cozy and warm. I absolutely loved the floor heating because it wasn't so loud in my ears and I didn't have anything blowing in my eyes. Any questions I had, they responded so quickly, and had nice amenities that i didn't think of in the cold weather. My vehicle got stuck in their driveway due to the snow and me driving a compact car (and it wasn't supposed to snow during my time). Matt was quick to try to help, but I have AAA and didn't want to inconvenience or scratch their vehicle. Seriously, they are wonderful people and i highly recommend staying with them. I didn't get to see the Aurora because the weather wasn't great for it, but I'm sure with the remote location, it would have been a great place to view - maybe next year. 😉 Thanks again, Linda and Matt! Wow! We can’t say enough about Tanglewood Inn! We came here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we loved it here! It met and exceeded all of our expectations. From the easy drive and easy to get to, it was just far enough from town that we got away from the city to be able to see the lights at night, but it wasn’t too far away to come and go when we wanted to go do something or eat. Jessica has put so much thought into this place it makes you feel at home. The snacks when you arrive, the coffee pods the next morning after coming in on a late flight, the shampoo/conditioner that we didn’t have to pack on our flight there, the warmest blankets and comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed 7 days and was lucky enough to see the lights at least 4 nights from the porch and even laying in the bed our last night. Everything was perfect from details, views, advice or recommendations I highly recommend visiting Tanglewood Inn.

We spent four unforgettable nights at Wendy and Drew’s studio in North Pole, and words can barely do justice to how perfect everything was. For couples visiting Fairbanks, this is the perfect place to stay. Cathy and Dan have a wonderful place. The Berry Suite is private, clean, just the right size. Fairbanks is not that big so it is easy to get around from their place. The unit is clean, well appointed with everything you need. We cooked breakfast every morning before heading out on our adventures. The purpose of our trip was to see the Northern Lights. We saw quite a show right outside the cabin. We took a great hiking trail on the back of their property. The bird feeders welcomed host of birds and a couple of squirrels right outside our window. Very peaceful and relaxing. I highly recommend the Berry Suite if you are visiting Fairbanks. Cathy and Dan are super hosts. They are happy to give you pointers and answer all your questions. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to northern Alaska.

It was a comfortable stay, you have everything thing available in the airbnb, cooking here was easy and the host replied fast and also allowed us to check in early as we landed a bit early. Overall If I an ever in alaska again would like to stay here

Fantastic cabin by the river in the woods! Cozy place to call home while exploring everything Fairbanks has to offer. Well located to visit North Pole, Cleary summit, Chena hot springs and Denali as well. Would definitely consider booking again in future.
