We discovered Dale End House whilst mountain biking through Gratton Dale and instantly fell in love with it. Surrounded by breath-taking views, and abundant wildlife - Gratton is one of Derbyshire’s best-kept secrets.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful cozy cottage in Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is a quiet cottage near many places of historical interest, with great walks, and pubs within walking distance. The area is close to Matlock, Bakewell, and Chatsworth house. Situated in the Peak District National Park, locations don't come much better than this. Thistledown Cottage provides superb views across the valley and lovely walks from the door. A brisk riverside stroll will soon get you to the local pubs in Darley Bridge. Matlock, with its county town facilities is a 5 minute drive. The property is close to the Peak District's wealth of attractions, including Chatsworth House, Dove Dale and Haddon Hall A beautiful haven to discover the area
