Tunkhannock Township: soggiorni in cottage

Perfect place for our busy family to get away and reconnect. We loved our time at the lake, enjoyed the hot tub and firepit, and of course quality time together in the comfortable cottage.

Martin could not have been more accommodating. He responded very quickly to my questions. His home was perfect for our needs. It had everything we needed . They had a welcoming gift basket and a welcoming note upon our arrival. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends. Thank you, Martin for opening your home to us.

Garrett was very nice, easy to get ahold of, and accommodating. The house was clean, and easily fit the five of us girls traveling to celebrate our friend getting married. Overall, it was a great experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the Green Acorn while celebrating my niece’s 6th birthday with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge! The location was perfect — a quick & easy drive to the park. The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the biggest highlights for us was the amazing game room! After a fun (and tiring!) day at the water park, it was so lovely to come back and let the kids keep the fun going in the kids' space. The game room was stocked with so many fun options that we stayed entertained for endless hours of Uno. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house, especially the kid-friendly spaces. It made traveling with younger children so much easier. Everything from the comfy beds to the well-stocked kitchen helped make this trip smooth, relaxing, and memorable for the whole family. We would stay here again and recommend this hidden gem to everyone! The hosts are excellent - super friendly, helpful, and a joy!

Cozy, nice place to stay near Jim Thorpe! Overall we loved our stay. The place was clean and cozy, perfect for a family or small group. We loved the hot tub to relax, kitchen/living room space to spend time together, and convenient washer/dryer. The twin beds upstairs are better for children - the mattresses were not super comfortable, and the beds were a bit cramped, being so close to the sloped attic ceiling. The upstairs space would have been perfect for older kids to have their own, tucked-away play area. You may want to bring additional glassware (or plasticware) and towels. There were coffee mugs and glasses for one meal for ~5 people, but we were constantly washing them to use again. No shotglasses, in case you will need those. The house is st4ocked with many towels for the hot tub and shower (some tucked away in corners - keep looking!), but I found they would get soaked from one use because they were so thin.

Had a great time staying here! The place was as listed and clean and hosts were responsive as needed!

Katie was very responsive to all our needs and really was a great host. She thought of everything, had great communication, and was very helpful if any question came up. My entire family had a blast. Thank you!

place was just as pictured maybe even better. it was perfect for my group of 8 and everyone had their own bed. kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook for the weekend. we really enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. would definitely recommend to others and would stay again next time i visit the Poconos.

I spent one and a half months here. The owners were always quickly responsive with messages. Nice little cottage and perfect space for one or two people. The walls were pretty thin and I was able to hear the neighbors but it wasn’t as loud in the living room when the bathroom door was closed. The owners kept up on snow removal on both the front and back porches.

Had a wonderful time at Erica’s mountain house. House was so cozy and everything was just as pictured. Erica was flexible about check out time which was so helpful not feeling rushed on our last day. We loved the fire place and sunroom. It was a snowy weekend and we still had a great time.

Very cozy house. Loved the wrap around deck and huge backyard! Deer visited us every morning and evening! Our two dogs were outside practically the entire time! They loved it!!!

Earl and Sara were beyond courteous. They had pleanty if recommendations for local fishing hot spots and other activities. Our vehicle broke down literally our last day staying in the cabin. Earl and Sara went far beyond what other renters have done to help my family and I. My family and I were stranded 7 hours away from home. They didnt even know us, but were incredibly supportive. We had a great time and are very grateful for their help.

We rented Helen's house for 3 months over the winter. The location is excellent, we walked to dinners and saw a few shows at the Opera house. Helen is a great communicator and host. Highly recommend staying at Helen's house.

Susan left clear instructions to follow during our stay. The home was clean. She was helpful in responding questions I had. I would go to her Airbnb again.

The house was even bigger and cozier than the photos made it look! Great location for our ski trip to Blue Mountain and Camelback. Favorite part was the electric fireplace!

Karan was awesome helped with anything and everything I had questions about. Was very informative about the surrounding area and was very quick to answer. Would definitely come back here again next time!!

From the moment we pulled into the property we knew we were going to love it. It was easy to find but secluded enough that we saw several deer, a turkey, and a very friendly chipmunk during our stay. It was very quiet and peaceful. The inside was lovely, with a very cute enclosed porch with lots of games, a spacious kitchen, and a very comfy couch. Also, the TVs in both the living room and bedroom are bigger than the one I have at home! You can tell the house is very thoughtfully put together for the comfort of guests. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great value for great relaxation in the Poconos. Three generations of our family stayed at Ellen's place for a week and a half and had plenty of space and made lots of memories. Great neighborhood and great accommodations- would happily stay again.

We had a great stay at Naomi’s. The house is so cute and it was so so clean. The view was so peaceful and beautiful. Naomi checked in with us in advance to let us know the house was ready for check-in a few hours early and remotely turned the heat on so the house was nice and toasty when we got there. Everything was honestly just really nice. We would definitely go back.

Great place to relax for a few days. Secluded location makes it easy to shut out the world and enjoy quality time. The host is very responsive to any inquiry and keeps the place tidy.

Robert I love you place it’s beautiful it’s comfortable it’s super clean I had a time figuring out the hear but once I got it the hear was amazing. The location is up coming so it’s a little bit rough and about 15 mins from any stores but overall we loved it

Had a little weekend getaway celebrating my fiancés birthday. The place is situated in a private, secured neighborhood (you’re given a visitor’s pass that will suffice for the duration of your trip). We chose this place to fish the lake and avoid having to drive to a nearby location, but we were unfortunately unable to hook into anything — we were told there were several species of fish residing there, though. We visited an alpaca farm 15 minutes away, was able to find very good wings and a great dinner spot, fed some deer, and enjoyed the quiet! This house is a very basic, nothing extravagant type of vibe but it suited its purpose for the weekend we were there. Stocked with coffee, board games, tvs in every room, a fire pit, boats (when available), utensils and kitchenware, AC/Heated, and several beds. Overall, I would recommend. The host was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful, as well! Shoutout to them for all the information and patience!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in ruhiger Umgebung mit Blick auf den See. Es ist eine sehr gemütliche und mit Licht durchflutete Wohnung, wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Christy ist sehr liebenswert, immer erreichbar für Fragen und Tipps. Sehr zuverlässig und zugänglich in ihrer Art. Für Menschen die eine Auszeit vom Stadtleben suchen, perfekt.
