Although we only got to enjoy one evening at Kam’s peaceful cottage, it was well worth the drive. It was so peaceful with the window’s open listening to the birds while we cooked in the kitchen. We hope to come back to enjoy some hiking in the area.

New build. Very clean. Easy check in. Nice patio area with river view. Within walking distance to restaurants. Recommend Milo's Cafe for breakfast.

Quiet relaxing stay in a beautiful quiet location. Kam was very helpful and responsive to all our needs.

Kam accommodated us on short notice as we had to come up quickly due to a family member being hospitalized. The place is so peaceful and on beautiful grounds. It was easy to find and a Tesla charger was outside our door. I will stay here again!

Staying at Poplar Inn met our requirements perfectly as we were there to visit our grandson whom is at the college less than a 5 minute walk away so he could pop over and see us when he was out of class. Deny and Celia were perfect hosts and made us feel right at home

Vincent was very friendly and had a detailed book with the local sites! We enjoyed the fire pit, the big back porch, pond, foot messager, had breakfast in the tea house and loved the hot tub with lights. We will definitely be back for another trip 🙂

We had a wonderful stay. The power went out on the mountain one evening and Emily was available to answer any questions and keep me apprised of the situation. She was a generous and considerate host.

The Old Post Office was fantastic- we absolutely loved it. We were there for an extended stay and found it to be a perfect jumping off point to visit everything in the area. The setting was beautiful with lovely views of the creek from the kitchen. We also appreciated that it was pretty accessible to get to in snow and ice (despite its rural setting) thanks to a flat driveway that Jake had well-shoveled (our car is awful in the snow). The house itself is full of charm and also very well-appointed (like with nice knives, and even a coffee grinder- things that we don't often see in a rental house!) and had everything we needed. Jake was super easy to communicate with and all of his instructions were perfect and easy to follow. We will be back!

We travel a lot, and this was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The house is new and of very high quality. From the dishes and pans, to showers, sheets and beds, every detail was of high quality. We loved walking to the shops and restaurants, as well as running and biking right from the house. And despite being so close to everything, when you relax by the river on the back deck it's so peaceful and quiet. We didn't use our car much at all. The area has incredibly options for outdoor recreation. We would LOVE to come back again sometime soon.

We absolutely loved this house! The kitchen was beautifully designed and incredibly well-stocked—perfect for cooking and gathering. Every detail throughout the home felt so thoughtful, from the extra touches that made our stay more comfortable to the overall cleanliness and organization. You can tell a lot of effort has been put into making guests feel welcome. The location was fantastic, just a short distance from the slopes, and the home itself was cozy, spacious, and inviting. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this property! The house is something from a storybook! Beautiful views from the porch. Very private and peaceful. The hot tub/man cave was a big highlight for us! I can’t recommend Vince enough! He was the most gracious host and never stopped helping us navigate our way around. We just got home and already cannot wait to book with him again!

A really nice property for a large family. Our crew really appreciated the ping pong table. It snowed while we were there and the property looked beautiful. If you plan to cook more than very basic things, bring the tools with you. This wasn't a huge deal. I would just pack better in the future.

We had a great stay at Trip & Virginia's place in Red Creek. The home is well-equipped, with a great back deck and yard with babbling creek (Mabel our dog absolutely loved the creek and wouldn't drink water from anywhere else...) Beds are comfortable, wifi and TV all worked well. It's a lovely area with beautiful scenery and a big cattle farm up the hill - near sunrise you can hear all of the cattle and see deer wandering around. The location is very quiet and peaceful and convenient to local state parks - Canaan Valley and Black Water Falls as well as Seneca Rocks are all within an easy and beautiful drive. I would definitely recommend it for a very comfortable stay. Hosts were responsive.
