Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Per via della scarsa illuminazione è il luogo perfetto per osservare l'Aurora e godersi una rilassante vacanza privata nell'Artico. Noi viviamo proprio accanto con figlio di 6 anni e gatto e siamo a casa dalle 16:30 circa e nei weekend. Helt ny hytte på Sommarøy! Det perfekte sted for å se nordlys på vinteren, og strand og fjell på sommeren. Huset ligger 20km fra Kattfjordeidet med nydelige fjell, perfekt for skikjøring. Hytten ligger rett ved Sommarøy Arctic Hotell som tilbyr jacuzzi og sauna. Hytten er veldig tiltalende, og meget høy standard. Praktfull utsikt, to veranda med havet som nærmeste nabo. 50 meter fra strand. Soverom med dyne og pute. Alle bad med håndklær. Hytten skal forlates ryddig og pen. Minimum 2 leiedøgn.

Hytten ligger tilbaketrukket på en høyde med mørke omgivelser og utmerkede forhold for å se nordlyset. Kun 20 min i bil fra Tromsø lufthavn. Fra panoramavinduene i stua kan du nyte utsikten mot Tromsøya, fjorden og fjellene. Velutstyrt kjøkken!

Dåfjord Lodge & Ocean sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

Perfect apartment for larger groups and family

The apartment is a part of a semi detached house, and rooms up to 12 people. Perfect for family vacations and larger groups. Very spacious with own porch and a lovely view over Tromsø. The bus terminal is 1 km. away, and a small shuttle bus serves the area during peek hours. There is free parking with room for several cars. We recommend renting a car. The house is close to a flood-lit track for hiking enthusiasts. It has a sauna which guests are welcome to use.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.

In the quiet corner of campsite Lyngentourist you can have a peaceful stay for a night or more. View to the Lyngen Alps. Top spot for observing Northern Lights. Top spot for Arctic Swimming. Recommended for 1 or 2 people. Guests have at their disposal 15 sqm + sleeping loft (mezzanine). Portable WIFI Internett 4G can if necessary be delivered to the cabin.
