Felt right at home. The location is incredible and peaceful.

The theme rooms were a fun touch. Beds were comfy and each bedroom had a tv and towels laid out. Very thoughtful host that had everything that you would need from coffee to toiletries. Family members lived across the street and mentioned a few times to ask if we needed anything. Also a great suggestion in the guest book to visit Burnt Cave, which we certainly did do.

Quiet, warm, cozy and peaceful. Just what you'd be looking for in a 'stay around the Bay' in Newfoundland. Felt like we were visiting at Nan's house, just what needed after several busy days of travel.

Beautiful cottage with a gorgeous view- both inside and out. We especially loved our early morning coffee on the porch. Inside was very clean and the bed was tres comfortable! Perfect location if visiting L'anse aux Meadows. Host is quick to reply and very accomodating! Thank you!

Belle vieille maison typique, rénové bien situé si prévoyez allez au nord! Il y a des enfants qui joue dehors après l’école. Ça fait du bien de voire ça! Vous rencontrerez sûrement cette charmante voisine Rita avec qui viendra vous salué! Si ça vous dit de vous faire un repas de moules il y en a tout près et faciles à cueillir! Nous avons passé du bon temps à cet endroit.

Very comfortable and lively hosts!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at Big Land Cottage. It’s a beautiful space -inside and out - and just what you’d hope for in a coastal Labrador cottage. The house was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all we needed in the kitchen. The views are terrific from the living and dining rooms, and from the outside deck and yard. The location was a great midway point for a day of touring to the south and then a day to the north. Thanks, Matt, for providing this great space for travelers.

Such a beautiful peaceful place. More beautiful than the pictures if that’s possible!. We throughly enjoyed our stay with the beach in front, very comfortable beds, the views and beautifully decorated home. The bath overlooking the bay was a special treat. The three of us got to sleep in the master bedroom to experience the sunrise through the amazing window. 🙂 Can’t say enough good things about the experience of our first visit to southern Labrador. Thanks Coco for everything.

Terry was easy to communicate with. House as described. Great location. Very thankful we had ice bergs front & centre in cove out front. Easy drive to St Anthony’s & L’Anse Meadows.
