We had a great stay! We’re the first ones in for the season. Brought our toddler and mini Aussie. We always love Cuchara but got to explore new trails like Dikes trail which was walking distance from this Airbnb. The place is clean and gorgeous and lots of games inside to enjoy. Comfortable sleeping arrangements. Lots of recommendations left by the host which was appreciated. Amanda was also super responsive when we had a little hiccup with the battery on the lock. Thanks so much for a great stay! We’ll be back.

My family and I wanted to say Thank You for sharing your house with us. It was a great experience and the modern touches were well done! It’s not often that you find places to stay that appreciates pets, but our dog is family and it was very accommodating, from the great backyard area, to the food bowls that were available. We truly loved our stay. The place was just as described and remarkably clean. The host was responsive with any questions we had. The houses were both very cozy and welcoming. We'd like to come back to explore the area more so will be looking to see if this place is available. The road was a little busier than expected but nothing that would keep us from returning.

Wonderful place to stay! This was the 2nd time we stayed here and both times really set the bar for any other BnB in the future.

We were very grateful to find this quirky home when another AirBNB cancelled on us at the last minute right before a bleak snow storm. We arrived to a lovely warm house and had fun playing some old LP records. We woke to a decent blanket of snow, which didn't seem to bother the three deer nibbling at the trees right outside the kitchen window. All in all very tranquil.

Dana is a wonderful and kind person with a who cares a lot about the guests she hosts. Her space was inviting, clean, and comfortable. I immediately felt at home and would not hesitate to visit again!

Had such a great time at La Veta. Ski resort was closed but kids had such. Good time sledding!!

I stayed at this lovely studio for an extended stay and it was wonderful. Modern, clean, beautiful art, everything you could need. Mark & Tanya are excellent hosts. Hot tub was a great feature. Deer walked up to the door a couple times. It was peaceful and tucked away, yet close to the town of LaVeta. 5/5

Joey's place was just as described and a perfect stopping point for our roadtrip. Plenty of room for 2 adults, 1 child & 1 infant. Easy to find, easy check in, good communication.

My stay at Joeys Airbnb was fantastic! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and provided clear check-in instructions. The space was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described, with thoughtful touches. The location was perfect—convenient to nearby attractions and amenities. The bed was super comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. I felt right at home and would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!

Promptly responded. Checked in with us prior to arrival. They knew we would be coming in late and provided a hand-drawn map that looked a little intimidating but that map was spot on. We had no trouble finding the place. As for the stairs, there are 20 down and 22 up and they really are not bad. The place is clean, quiet, and had everything we needed.

Loved staying here! Quiet and exactly as advertised. Great communication from the host. We will definitely be back.

Michael was an excellent host; warm, friendly, gracious and accommodating! He went above and beyond what was needed to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The condo was small but very comfortable and just right for our party of 3; but did have extra sleeping space if needed. The space was warm and charming. We spent one day snowed in (we're from Florida) so it didn't take too much snow for us to just stay in and enjoy the beautiful views. But there were plenty of games and TV if desired. One of the nicest features and very unusual in these times, was the check in and out times. Check in at 2pm and out by 2pm. That is so rare these days and was very much appreciated. It felt like we received full value for our rental expense dollars. And it felt like our host wanted us to feel welcome, comfortable and not rushed, like a real guest!! Thank you, Michael! We loved our stay and that area of Colorado was so beautiful!

This condo was perfect for our short getaway. It was cozy, clean, and the location was excellent. Being at the base of the ski area, we had walking access to the local store and scenic walks. A definite keeper on our list for future stays in Cuchara/La Veta.
