We invite you to our beautifully renovated 3-bedroom home blending modern style in a traditional victorian home, located just minutes from Newquay’s world-famous beaches, surf spots, and vibrant town. There is a park and a lovely local pub 2 mins walk from the house. More photos of the garden and the 3rd small bedroom to follow. 3rd bedroom is good for a dedicated workspace if required but will normally be set up as a baby room as its our home. Thank you.

Couch's House, History in the heart of Polperro

Sitting moments from the harbour, this historic property was once the cherished home of esteemed 19th-century British naturalist Jonathan Couch who lived here from 1810. Known as 'Couch’s House' it now offers a unique blend of heritage and comfort. The home has been lovingly restored by the current owner to reflect the character and atmosphere of his time, while incorporating modern conveniences we now expect. The property features a life size wax work of Couch standing in the cottage window!

With four bedrooms, and a large lounge there’s plenty of space for families to spread out. Space for two cars to park. Sunday changeover day which helps beat the traffic.
