The Mews House is a homely, light & spacious character cottage in the village of Llanishen, Monmouthshire, between the Wye & Usk Valleys, AONB areas. There is a variety of attractions including walks from the property and in the local area, castles, Tintern Abbey, the River Wye, Roman Caerleon, horse riding, cycling & golf. It is a 2 minute walk to the village shop, garage & new coffee shop. The village pub is closed at the moment, there are 3 other good food pubs each just over 2 miles away.

Offa's Hideaway is an idyllic and peaceful retreat on Offa's Dyke footpath in the village of Redbrook. Enjoy the private patio and veranda overlooking the Wye Valley woodlands, with a BBQ and petanque court. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

The Old Cider Mill is a beautifully converted old cider barn set in the wonderfully peaceful monmouthshire countryside. The cottage is a fabulous romantic and tranquil retreat set in one acre of meadow and adjoining spinney. Perfectly situated to explore all the wye valley, and nearby forest of dean, has to offer. This cosy cottage sleeps two guests and has an open plan living area with a woodburning stove. Outside is lovely gravelled courtyard with furniture and off road parking.

We are in a great spot for the Forest of Dean, the Brecon Beacons, Bike Park Wales, Cannop Cycle Centre and the Offa’s Dyke Path. There are lovely walks right from the door and so much to do nearby!

It is located in an idyllic quiet part of Monmouthshire with many wonderful walks, cycle and running areas in the general locality. Monmouth town centre is approximately 10 minutes drive away, where there are a variety of restaurants, cafes, superstores, pubs and the sort of facilities that one would expect to find in an old Market Town. A place to be enjoyed through all of the seasons.
