Stroll to dinner in 5 minutes on foot. The house is situated on a big lot with an enjoyable backyard. After a good day on your bike or hiking, enjoy the evening grilling under the lights or relaxing by the fire pit. From Brevard you can easily access Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest or Asheville!

Enjoy the peace and quiet of this secluded cottage just outside Rosman NC, near the Jocassee Gorges and the Blue Ridge Mtns. It's a short ride to Brevard, and Hendersonville or a little further to Asheville. Enjoy the many hiking trails, waterfalls and Pisgah Forest. From shopping, restaurants and Farmers market to Gem Mines and breweries there is something for everyone. On the drive up along the gravel and dirt road (last two miles) enjoy the views as depicted. Brookside cottage is newly renovated and surrounded by forest in the mountains of western North Carolina. A mountain stream descends in front of the cottage providing an restful water feature. Located in Transylvania county between Brevard and Cashiers, the area is named the “Land of Waterfalls”. Supplies (food, drink, etc.) are available 2 miles from cottage. Caution to low riding cars/sports cars: the last half mile to this cottage is a gravel road and must ford a small stream.

Our cottage is located just 10 minutes from the center of the town. The large grocery store is 5 minutes away. The gas station is just a minute away.
