A fantastic weekend stay. A charming property with original features mixed with modern amenities, everything we needed. A great location for walks or a day out in Uppermill sampling the local bars and eateries. A very friendly and responsive host. We would definitely recommend and return.

This was our second time staying here and once again felt straight at home as soon as we walked in. We chose this place again because we loved it and it definitely didn’t disappoint.

Susan’s apartment was perfect for our needs — small but equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Located just a 20-minute train ride from Manchester Piccadilly, it’s a convenient base for visiting the city while enjoying the peace and quiet of a well-kept residential area. The neighborhood is charming and feels very safe. Communication with Susan was smooth, and the check-in process was easy and flexible. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay, it’s a great place to catch up with friends. The lounge is amazing, plenty of room with lovely comfy sofas. Kitchen is a good size. Restaurants and bars all around if you wanted to stay close. Metro station is across the road so you can be in Manchester within 20 mins. The amenities are to a lovely hotel standard and with hairdryers and straighteners provided it has everything you need!

I had a brilliant week long stay in the Nook. It had absolutely everything I needed to feel right at home. Jo was the most proactive and responsive host. She offered to take me to the shops as well as I didn’t have a car. Just above and beyond in all the ways!

Stephanie was a great host who accommodated our early check in request which was much appreciated. The apartment is lovely, spotlessly clean and a stones throw up the hill into the centre of Buxton main high street. The apartment also comes with parking which was ideal. Will definitely recommend the apartment to family and friends as a base for staying in the Peak District!

We had a lovely stay here. The apartment was lovely, the beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Our host was very communicative and allowed us to check in an hour early as we were rushing to get to a wedding. All in all a great stay!

Karl communicated well before our arrival and gave clear instructions about how to find the place. Check in was comprehensive with lots of tips for local things to do, places to eat and drink etc. Karl is super dog-friendly and our dog was made to feel very welcome - she loved the loan of the dog bed! Karl’s place is beautiful, homely and we were encouraged to explore his collections of books, games and so on. He’s thought of everything in terms of amenities, and we had an amazing, relaxing and straightforward stay. Buxton is lovely, with lots of great pubs and bars, and the property is right by the beautiful Pavilion Gardens (where the parkrun is, if you’re a runner!).

We had a lovely stay at this property! We booked extremely last minute due to other accommodation falling through and were pleasently surprised by how modern, clean, and comfortable the flat was. I would definitely book again.

Brilliant location for West Didsbury and Didsbury village also opposite the tram stop to get into Manchester. Great few days visiting family in the area.

Great location for the Peak District! Lovely accommodation. Tony was incredibly responsive, gave good instructions on how to arrive and was helpful whenever I contacted him, you can tell a lot of thought has gone in to the space. The shower was lovely and powerful. Something that was really appreciated after the long walks. Bed was really comfortable and seemed much larger than a queen size bed, sheets were lovely and clean. Appreciated having a parking place so close to where we were staying. Views across to the reservoir were amazing, we took a walk across the road to it and they were lovely, beautiful nature walk along the reservoir just across the road. Peaks cavern only 40 minutes away and the b29 crash sight parking only a 15minute drive away. Would recommend this stay and will definitely be returning.

Tivemos uma excelente estadia, casa extremamente limpa, bonita e organizada, com todos os utensílios disponíveis e funcionando para fazer literalmente o que quiséssemos. Nós sentimos em casa, com tamanho conforto e comodidade,. Localização espetacular, não usamos Uber ou transporte público para fazer nada, sempre caminhando com uma vista incrível, conseguimos ir a uma partida do City andando por 7 minutos!! Que incrível nosso período em Manchester na residência do Ryan!!! Apreciamos este momento!!! Obrigado

A really unique and lovely place to stay in a very nice, leafy area. Rob and Kath were fantastic hosts, very responsive to questions etc. The volt had everything we needed for our stay and I’d happily recommend it to friends and family.

Fantastic flat, smack in the middle of action. The Northern Quarter is fun! So many restaurants, cafes, shops. We walked to Etihad for a game and walked back—an amazing experience. The flat is stylish, clever, comfortable, and very clean. Paula is an excellent communicator. A wonderful stay.

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

Excellent hosts and accommodation. My family and I had a very pleasant stay here, the place was comfortable and well equipped. The grounds surrounding the house are impressive, peaceful and well kept. The hosts, Pam and John were both super friendly and helpful. One my fav AirBnBs!
