There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!

The Wash House: a Cosy Romantic Countryside Escape

The Wash House is a beautiful, cosy cottage adjacent to a charming Schoolhouse built in 1857. This space was once the schools laundry facility. Character has been retained in this beautiful modern space. Our little slice of paradise is at the gate way to the highlands and 5 minutes from doune ( for those Outlander fans). It is perfect for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding area or even as a stop over on route to the highlands.

This traditional 18th-century detached gatehouse is tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It offers an ideal holiday base to relax or explore the surrounding area. Situated close to the city of Glasgow, Peel Lodge is only 20 mins by train from the city centre, 30 miles away is Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Ayrshire.
