Welcome to The Cabin at Travers Cattle Company! Come enjoy a real-life ranch experience. This quaint and quiet retreat is spacious with horse stall rentals available and parking for trailers. Need more room? Reserve "The Barndominium" or "The RV Hookup" , "Room 1 or 2" as well for a shared stay with friends or family. Both are located on the hub of our working ranch alongside our workshop. Enjoy peaceful scenery, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, or take time to explore the ranch around you.

Come and enjoy our peaceful country setting surrounded by wildflowers and wildlife. We have a walking trail with a couple of exercise stations and 2 holes of pasture golf and 2 baskets for disc golf. There is a pickle ball/basketball court, lit dance floor and room to play outdoor games. You might want to enjoy an evening picnic in the lit tree area. Our open vistas provide for great cloud and star watching as well as amazing sunrises and sunsets. Outdoor seating on front and back porches.

Sage Cottage is located in the beautiful Pottawatomie County in our own Oaklore Forest. The cottage sleeps two on our queen size bed, Has a mini-kitchen and 3-piece bathroom with stand-up shower. The kitchen is equipped with a small bar sink, double hot plate, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, kuerig, toaster oven, small fridge and cooking essentials. All Aboard!!!! Formerly a coffee trolley, The Tiny Trolley has been reimagined into this unique stay in Hanston, KS. When you stay you'll have a full-size spa shower and bathroom; a tiny house kitchen complete with fridge, microwave, sink, toaster, coffee pot, waffle-maker, and crockpot; a table and 2 stools; a fold-out twin-sized sleeper sofa for ONE (or two if you like to be cozy); Smart TV (with outdoor amenities coming at a future date). My cabin is a hidden gem in Urbandale, a neighborhood only 15 minutes from downtown that's filled with unique architecture, old trees, and multicultural flavor. Crafted from pine felled and hand-planed in Boone, NC, the cabin has a wonderful smell and unique aesthetic. It's like a woodcutter's home deep in the woods, yet sits safely in my verdant backyard.
