With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

Be one with nature. Sitting just up the hill from our mini donkeys and our 4 adorable boy alpacas.

Voted one of the top 85 Airbnbs by Conde Nast Traveler. The Granary is a lovingly restored two bed + one bath cabin located on 12 wooded acres with a secluded Lake Michigan beach nearby. A short drive to town will give you access to restaurants, groceries, breweries and wineries. Dogs are welcome! Please message us to discuss bringing more than 1. Absolutely no cats or other pets are allowed. We do not have a TV, but we do have fiber optic high speed internet.

Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets. Great for family summer vacation or cozy ski weekends. Very strong Wifi for folks that want to school and work from "vacation"!

Unit #121 at the base of Schuss Mountain

Unit 121 is located at the top of Schuss Mountain Lodge. It is within walking distance from some of Northern Michigan's best skiing and golfing. Not to mention, it's only 15 minutes away from Short's Brewery in Bellaire. Unit 121 is located on the second floor and there is not an elevator. This is a one room hotel-like unit. You can sleep four — two on a foldout and two on a queen bed — in the same room. Private bathroom. Very close to the ski hills.
