It provides an ideal base to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire including; Howarth, the home of the Brontes, Halifax, including the Piece Hall and Shibden Hall, the home of Anne Lister and the Pennine Way.

This property can accommodate 6 guests. 2 double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms. Ideally situated for miles of country walking, 4 minutes from Todmorden, 10 minutes from Hebden Bridge, 30 minutes from Manchester City or 1 hour from Leeds. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS ONLY PARKING FOR ONE CAR. Nearby street parking is available if you have more than one vehicle.

Lower Hawkstones Farm is a 18th century farmhouse and barn conversion set high on the Pennines. It’s wild and windy and we can get snow in the winter. There are fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and spectacular walks through woodland into the valley, or open moorland to the rear of the property. We have no public transport as the nearest bus stop is 1.5 miles away so own transport is recommended. There are lots of interesting places to eat within 15 mins by car
