Our lovingly restored and converted stone barn. Our aim is for guests to experience a historic and traditional Irish country home, while enjoying the comforts of modern living. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. Just a two minute stroll brings you to Duncannon's famed long beach and when you work up an appetite there are a choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes.

Our house has a private garden with spectacular uninterrupted seaviews and a shared common green area. We live close by and can help with any local information you might need to enhance your stay.

Caving and archery. those looking for the nature trails we have Tintern abbey, Forth mountain and Kennedy park it is also a fantastic location for Anglers.

"Stable Cottage"

"Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.

Fardy's Cottage

Fardy's Cottage offers a light and spacious base from which to explore Ireland's southeast. Situated less than 100m from an estuary the location is a bounty for nature enthusiasts. The cottage sleeps six including master bedroom with en-suite. Also included are WIFI, TV/DVD player and wood burning stove. The Hook Peninsula boasts some of the best beaches in the country, all within a 5-10 minute drive. Visits to The Hook lighthouse and Tintern Abbey are not to be missed!
