This granite cottage opens into an airy open-plan living space with a kitchen and lounge. There is a woodburning stove and leather couches to enjoy your evening. French doors lead out from the bedroom onto an outdoor dining, bbq area and garden.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located apartment on the Main Street, Abbeyleix. The apartment is in a gated community -free on street parking. The apartment was built on the site of a carpet factory which wove the carpets for the titanic ship. It has it's own private entry, with stairway leading to living, kitchen and bedroom. It is decorated in a contemporary style. It is designed for 2 but sofa bed in living/ kitchen can sleep 2. note 1 bathroom accessed through only bedroom.

Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

Oldmills Cottage - Comfortable Retreat

Oldmills Cottage offers an ideal getaway for family and friends. This traditional 270+ year old cottage has been beautifully renovated into a modern and cosy retreat set in the tranquil settings of County Laois. Besides traditional features and a wood burning stove, it offers all modern conveniences' including Wi-Fi. Oldmills is perfectly located to enjoy the countryside, as well as the many outdoor activities on offer and is in easy reach to Dublin. You will need your own form of transport.

Villa Jokubas The Jungle

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. We charge €25 for hottub or sauna for one use. One Drink Included.

Cosy Loft in the Trees

This gorgeous little hut is tucked into the upper corner of a hay barn and has the cosy feel of a treehouse. Set in a peaceful rural spot overlooking open fields, it offers a real sense of escape. Although close to other buildings where we live, it is completely private. Access is via two short flights of sturdy steps leading to a balcony. Kilkenny city is a 20-minute drive away, but a car is essential as there is no public transport. An ideal place to retreat and unwind.

Babes Cottage

Our cottage is nestled in the beautiful Slieve Blooms mountains. This cottage boasts a traditional thatched roof surrounding by fantastic countryside. The cottage features two cozy bedrooms with comfortable beds and soft linens. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up hearty meals with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Warm up by the fireplace in the inviting living room, where you can curl up with a good book or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV.

The Loft @ Poppy Hill

The Loft @ Poppy Hill is a cosy self contained unit close to a family house with fantastic views of Mount Leinster. It is 2km from the village of Ballindaggin and a super location to soak up the countryside and explore the treasures of Wexford and beyond. Located in the foothills of Mount Leinster, it is well suited for hill walkers, star gazers and those who want to feel the country atmosphere. The village has 2 pubs, one serving the best curry in Wexford.

Located halfway between Portlaoise and Kilkenny, this is the ideal spot to stop and relax in the scenic countryside while touring the many local attractions. The fact that we are in The Midlands, makes it's the perfect location to visit other counties from, as everywhere is within only a few hours drive.
