Old Mains Cottage is a traditional character dwelling that has been extensively modernised. Originally it was the laundry of the mansion house that once stood in the adjacent woods. The cottage stands in its own private grounds & is accessed via a private road. There are two dedicated parking spaces at the front of the property. Separate garden space and parking area. Surrounded by rolling countryside and only 15 miles from the Cairngorm National Park.

The Byre, Self-Catering Countryside Home, Alford

The Byre is a cosy self-catering converted loft located in the peaceful Aberdeenshire countryside, close to the town of Alford. A perfect spot for a relaxed getaway. Our cosy loft sleeps features a comfortable bedroom for two guests, a well equipped kitchen and cosy living area, and has been recently renovated to a high standard throughout. There are fantastic walks & cycling routes to explore right from the doorstep, along with coffee spots, restaurants & local shops a short drive away.

No. 6 - Cosy cottage in picturesque village square

No 6 The Village is a a terraced cottage within the picturesque square in Monymusk Village. The Square which has one of the oldest churches in Scotland, was built in the 1700s by Sir Archibald Grant; his descendants are there to this day. The location has a great deal to offer. There are lovely walks in the area, which includes walks on Monymusk Estate past the castle and beside the River Don. There are plenty of opportunities for sightseeing, cycling, mountain biking and fishing.

Royal Deeside 1 Bedroom self-contained 'Bothy'

Self contained annexe in the heart of Royal Deeside. The 'bothy' is a 1 bedroom home attached to our converted farmhouse. Downstairs has a spacious fully-equipped kitchen/living area with sofa bed and log burner. Upstairs is a double bedroom and shower room. Just 6 miles from Ballater, and in the Cairngorms National Park, the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve is on our doorstep with walks and cycle routes. Close by is Tarland Trails 2 mtb centre. Our property has bike wash and storage.

The Annex ( with Sauna )

Self check-in is available if required. Self contained annex with spacious, south facing bedroom with access out to the garden which guests can use. We are 2 minutes walk from the river and can direct you to nearby hills and lochs where scenic walks can be enjoyed. There is a cosy, friendly pub just round the corner which serves home cooked meals all day. They welcome "muddy boots, kids and dogs". We are dog friendly too so please feel free to bring your well behaved dog along.

The Farm Bothy Cottage

The Farm Bothy cottage offers luxury accommodation on a working sheep farm. It is self-contained, within a modern steading/barn conversion. We live in the other wing of the house. You can explore the farm, woodlands and our garden. Ideally located for visiting nearby castles and distilleries the area also has great cycling, golfing, fishing and horse-riding. Our local pub is a mile away. The nearest town, Alford, has a pub, restaurant, shops, supermarket, parks and museums.
