This was our second stay at Monica's wonderful cabin and it was as perfect as the first time. House was clean, roomy, homey, we felt like visiting an old friend. Surrounding is spectacular, and we had great time cross-country skiing at two trails near Thunder Bay. The sauna is the best we've been to, clean, with absolutely gorgeous view toward the sunset; it heated very quickly and kept heat for a good amount of time. Kitchen is like home, with everything needed for family cooking. Monica even left eggs, milk, and and local pancake mix for us to enjoy -- thank you! Overall it's been our absolute best place to visit with my aging parents who enjoyed not having not having stairs in the house.

This is a perfect spot for a night away in Manitouwadge. Had a very retro feel and I really enjoyed how comfortable and cozy the furnishings are inside!

Our stay at this Airbnb in Terrace Bay was absolutely perfect! We traveled during the holidays to reunite with friends, and this place was the ideal setting for our getaway. The home was cozy, and had all the amenities we could ask for. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, providing thoughtful touches including a beautifully decorated Christmas tree that made us feel right at home. It was a wonderful place to relax and catch up with friends. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable experience in Terrace Bay. Thank you for making our holiday reunion so special!

We rented Alexandra's beautiful home for a company retreat and it was so wonderful we are already hoping to rent it again. The majority of my team is local but the others were from across CAN and the US. We were all equally blown away by the view and the spaciousness. It's proximity to town made it easy to grab folks from the airport and for any last minute runs for supplies. (There is also a connivence store only a few minutes away.) We were there to play and test board games, and there was ample room to set up multiple games across various tables. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. There was more than enough dish-ware, supplies and linens/towels. It does get warm with the floor to ceiling windows but as long as you use the blinds and the many fans it is never to uncomfortable. The private beach and protected swimming area was great for refreshing dips and everyone loved the kayaks and paddle boards. 100 would recommend and stay again! Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about Paul. It’s an RV, Simple as that…but Paul was so thoughtful and made sure we were happy every step of the way. He went above and beyond with little things like setting up a fire for us after a long day of hiking, bringing us extra water, warming up the sauna and inviting us to hand feed the chickadees and nut-hatches! Top notch host!!!

An incredible experience. I was in the city because a family member was admitted to hospital. I reached out to Suzanne short notice. She ensured that unit was ready same day. Suzanne's Airbnb and hospitality exceeded our previous experiences. The fenced-in yard had wind chimes and lights that came on at night and a creek behind the yard. My two dogs were welcome and spent all sorts of time outdoors. When my family member was discharged they were able to meet and play with Suzanne's delightful dog Nexus. The unit was extremely well set up, with a gas fireplace, a beautiful living space, and a lovely bedroom. The kitchen was fully functional and stocked (an unexpected surprise). Suzanne went out of her way to ensure that I had what I needed, and when my family member arrived that their experience was one of comfort, joy, and peace. We highly recommend Suzanne's Airbnb, and can only express once more our gratitude to her and Nexus for their hospitality at so stressful a time.

Such a wonderful stay here what literally felt like heaven. The cabin is situated so that it feels like you are on top of the forest. We came with another family and our young children ages 4-7. There is so much for the kids to explore. The pool area is an excursion on its own. Great sleeps at night. Highly recommend if you are looking for a semi-rustic with a sauna/pool experience.

This beachfront cottage was everything advertised and more. Comfy beds, strong hot water, really well-equipped kitchen, fire pit…and the VIEW. We went in early October and the leaves were just turning. The cottage was a perfect central spot for all of our scheduled day trips to the provincial parks and sights in the area - even close to downtown. Mike was SO kind - welcomed us warmly and gave us local insights and tips about our planned stops. He even took the time to message us and point out the northern lights on two separate nights. 1000% would come back.

It was very convenient, as we were working around Geraldton. Great to have dryer and washer, full kitchen and plenty of room. We will return

First time staying, checking in was good, being able to extend the night was awesome, and having Netflix ready to go was top tier. beds were comfortable. Didn’t realize how close we were to everything so that was pretty cool. Everything was as listed, I would stay again. Communication was on point :)

Our family with two younger kids and one Great Dane stayed at Annie's place for 3 nights. We were all super excited as soon as we walked in the door. The house was amazing and easy to feel at home in. the Bay window was loved by all, especially our Great Dane who loved laying in it. We would recommend Annie's place to anyone and would stay again in a heartbeat. Annie herself was also amazing and super responsive. I very highly recommend this place!

This is a lovely spot to stay on the peninsula. It’s close to both lakes so you can canoe anywhere. The August long weekend was a little busy on the lake but then it got quiet on Monday. Michael is very friendly and was a great host. All cooking and bbq supplies were available. It was a week to remember for us. Thank you Michael and Julie.

Great spot and get-away! Leeza & Ian were superb communicators and gracious hosts. Their camp was as described and super relaxing location on the water. Easy in and out, and a laid back town/neighborhood. The beach was shallow and made for exhilarating swimming. It was super easy for us to grill and hang out side on the spacious deck. Fully equipped kitchen to cook and make yourself feel at home. We especially enjoyed the proximity to some beautiful parks and excellent hikes. Conveniences close-by (we found Terrace Bay to have all we needed). We will certainly keep an eye out for an opening to stay again when we make it back to their neck of the woods again.
