Evergreen Brick Works is a restored ecological site that was Toronto's largest brick quarry in the 1800s. Now you can tour refurbished industrial buildings, eat in the restaurant, and hike the ravine trails. There is a Saturday farmers' market and activities for kids.

Take the ferry across to the Toronto Islands for beaches and swimming, or tour the beautiful parks and unique residential areas. Centre Island has a theme park for kids. For adults, we recommend Hanlan's Point and Ward's Island. You can cycle around all three islands in about an hour or so.
