The Log Cabin

The Log Cabin is situated 3km from the village of Ballyvaughan. It is nestled under Cappawalla Mountain on a quiet, peaceful road with fabulous views of Ailwee Mountain. It is a one-bedroom cabin, with a sofa bed in the sitting room that can sleep up to 4 guests. The Log Cabin is an ideal base for exploring the Burren, Ailwee Caves and the Cliffs of Moher as well as many other tourist attractions in the area. The Log Cabin is close to the Ballyvaughan Wood Loop walk for those who enjoy walking.

Wild strawberry Shepard’s Hut with Hot Tub

Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

It is located a stones throw from the lovely old fishing village of ballyvaughan, that was once the heart of Clare and is now part of the Wild Atlantic Way. Spend a day in the sun on one of many beaches nearby or visit the stunning Burren and its fabulous attractions, such as Aillwee Cave and Birds of Prey Centre, Doolin Cave, Caherconnell Fort and the majestic Cliffs of Moher. Ballyvaughan Holiday Cottage

Our house is on the edge of Ballyaughan village, a short( 9 min) walk to centre of village. This traditional styled 2 storey house was comprehensively refurbished in July 2018 with new kitchen and bedroom, with an open plan living space ideal for families and groups of adults The house has oil fired central heating and a solid fuel stove. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 are ensuite. The listed price is all inclusive, there are no extra charges. FTTH( Fiber to the home broadband) is now available.
