After just minutes on the free ferry from Central Station, you’ll find Amsterdam’s true north. This up-and-coming neighbourhood is alive and kicking, bursting with cultural hotspots. At the centre of the neighbourhood’s social life there was always the Saint Rita church. Now that it is home to Bunk Amsterdam, this still holds true. Locals and travellers alike come to catch some rays on our terrace, sticking around for an affordable dinner and some free cultural nourishment.

There is great history behind the hotel. The Vergulden Eenhoorn was established in 1702 as a city farm and used to be one of very few farmhouses the city of Amsterdam has. Together with the city of Amsterdam the farmhouse was fully renovated to modern standards, while maintaining the historic value and its features. The space is fully equipped with all necessities to make your stay as comfortable as possible!

Enjoy a welcoming space designed for up to four guests with thoughtful touches for a relaxing stay. The modern bathroom features a convenient shower, making this room ideal for those travelling together in Amsterdam. Cribs are available on request.

Our Usual room is anything but usual. At The Usual everything is beautifully designed with maximum comfort. The open bathroom layout ensures a sense of spaciousness while maintaining privacy, with a separate toilet and rainfall shower area. Naturally, you can expect all The Usual features, including our signature beanbag for added comfort. If you require two separate beds, please reach out.
