Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Welcome to Whit’s End on beautiful Drummond Island! We are excited to share our boathouse with you here in the historic Whitney Bay area. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck listening to Loons and watching nearby freighters navigate Lake Huron. The sunsets over Whitney Bay are truly spectacular. The living space is located on the second floor of our renovated boathouse. We run a small pottery shop on the main level, so you may notice occasional activity during the day.
