What a lovely place! I couldn't recommend this stay more. It was such a relaxing weekend, and we will definitely be back. The hosts were incredibly friendly and quick to respond, the house was beautifully styled and cozy.

We stayed at Scott’s place for a night whilst visiting Glenworth Valley. It’s in a beautiful location and feels rustic and in flow with the natural outdoors. The hot tub is a nice edition and the fire pit is great for winter. The kitchen is slightly dated, but adequately equipped. The separate bedroom and bathroom are a really nice edition. Scott is great with communication and his friends welcomed us really warmly when we arrived.

Carmen was nothing but friendly and upfront from the very beginning. We felt very informed and safe. Carmen’s property was exactly like the photos (although the scenery was MUCH better in real life) Lovely and clean place, including the sheets and towels. The extra bathroom (outside of the ensuite) is perfect for a place housing so many guests. We also received a beautiful welcome gift, which was very thoughtful and delicious.

Thank you Lisa for a comfortable stay in your lovely property. We had everything we needed for our stay and would love to be return in summer when the pool is nice and warm.

We spent the Easter long weekend at Ricky's place with extended family. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We used the path across the street to access the lake, which is steep at the start but then lovely and flat for my 4-year-olds to scoot around. It's a 2 minute drive to the shops. We tried a few local beaches but our favourite was Norah Head and the Norah Head rock pool, which is 5 minutes drive away. The only thing to be aware of is that bedroom 4 isn't really a bedroom - it's a little annex/office space between the living area and one of the other bedrooms - it has no door, which meant it wasn't really usable as a bedroom.

Easy to find and getting in was easy and seamless. Nice surprise finding porridge and baked beans on the kitchen bench. But we wandered up the road to a quaint cafe/store "Central Cafe" (with a chemist next door) that do great coffee, breakfast and lunches. After reading previous reviews - to clarify. Yes there is a dog maybe 2 next door that bark during the day but not at night. They must go inside. Please don't let that put you off. We had 2 good nights sleep. Location was perfect for us coming from Sydney to attend a funeral at the local church and continuing on to the family wake afterwards. Didn't realise what a picturesque spot Millfield is and only 15 minutes to either Wollombi or Cessnock.

Beautiful place. My folks loved it. The House is Lovely and cozy. Backyard is Huge full of Plants and Tress. Calm and peaceful vibe at the stay. Absolutely recommend for a stay.

We had an amazing time staying at Lucy's beachfront Airbnb! We spent a month there and loved waking up to the stunning sunrise every morning. The apartment was perfect for our family of four, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lucy was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We would absolutely love to return for another beach getaway!

Great apartment in a lovely quiet street, yet walkable distance to Darby Street cafes and restaurants, Harris farm, beach etc. This was our second visit and would return again!

Very functional, albeit small 2-bedroom apartment. The pool was great - we were the only ones that seemed to swim while we were there! The little balcony is a nice place to have a dinner or wine. It did hold the heat quite a bit - assume it would be quite warm in summer. The suburb is very hilly like the name suggests - so be mindful of that from a mobility perspective. Great area - lots of cafes around 10 mins walk away.

We were really impressed with the view from the loungeroom. The place was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. It's very centralized, you can see the sea pool from the balcony and Coles is 750m away. Jonathan was also very quick in responding anytime I had a question. He also only asks that you take the rubbish out and doesn't ask anything extra like other hosts.

Great apartment in the perfect location to explore The Entrance. Access to jacuzzi was great and we had everything we needed. Would be happy to stay again.

A spacious and comfortable self-contained flat, overlooking the forest and the ocean. We had an excellent time over four weeks. Communication with a most hospitable owner was perfect. We highly recommend, and hope to be back some day!

The location, the view and the sound of the ocean waves made our stay in this apartment a wonderful experience! We had no trouble communicating with our hosts, who were nice and helpful! We can only recommend the apartment for future guests.

The place was very close to Mona Vale Beach. Not far from the bus to the city or Manly. Close to Mona Vale shops.

I had a lovely stay at Tina and Chris’s place! Although I didn’t get to meet Tina in person, she was incredibly responsive and helpful through messages. Chris was so welcoming and friendly—it truly felt like a home. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and warm place to stay. Thank you both!

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

I spent a lovely few days in EMILY‘s whale Beach escape. I was looking for a quiet retreat in Sydney and this was perfect. The bus made it easy to get around without a car. I went to Avalon Beach swimming and whale Beach is close by. I did an amazing moonlight walk on the . They were goodies in the fridge, plus snacks and a little bottle of sparkling wine that was very well received. Highly recommended. Matthew.

Overall, a good place with wonderful views of Broken Bay and the Pacific Ocean, and West St Umina. The place is tucked away in the hills area, so you will need a car or put yourself on the bus which stops outside. The property is located down a steep driveway. Inside it has sunken downstairs bedrooms and above is a well appointed and stocked kitchen and lounge area. The shower is great for couples who like different temperature with its dual nozzle system. Bedding is comfortable. Tip for new stayers, there is a second oil heater behind the wood heater which we discovered on checkout. Paul is a supportive host that offers flexibility.

10 stars! The longer you stay in Keran’s studio (and Newcastle) the longer you will want to stay. As frequent airbnb’ers we SO appreciate the considerate built-in storage spaces, HOOKS (!), all the kitchen supplies needed to cook meals, etc.! Keran spoiled us: cheeses, fruit, butter, gluten free crackers (she asked about dietary requirements!), OJ and more. Any anxiety about lack of outdoor space was quelled by a cute cozy basement style patio and the fact that Newcastle Beach and its shaded chill spaces is only a few minutes’ walk away. I have to mention the bathroom which had the most sophisticated lighting I have seen. Plus a great shower, just bring your shampoo. Public transport is nearby but we were happy to have a car to explore and traffic was a non-issue. Smaller car is best. Restaurants in walking distance as well as ocean pools (a must!). Best grocery stores by car. We met Keran who was great about checking in w/us and suggestions. She lives above in this historic complex.
