Janines's place is even lovelier than the pictures. Fabulous view, right on the beach and perfect for walking and dolphin spotting (at the right time of year). Particularly appreciated the very well equipped kitchen; and two bathrooms made for a very comfortable stay for a couple and two singles (with own double bedrooms). Very comfy beds. Hoping to come back again!

Joanne’s place was the perfect spot for our stay- centrally located to city center and 7 minutes to beach. It was super clean and well appointed and Joanne was very responsive to anything we needed. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Jade & Carla's place while undertaking environmental monitoring work, it was great for what we needed. But it would be a great place to stay for 1 or 2 families with plenty of beds. The house was tidy and well-equipped. Just a short stroll to the beach and walk to town. View was stunning. Communication was great, we would stay again.

Chris was a great host - and the accomodation was peaceful, quiet and cosy! Well positioned to get to local places of interest. Definitely recommended!

we loved our stay! perfect for a family of four. very warm and cosy place. the decór is beautiful. everything was spotless and the beds very comfy. the BBQ on the porch was great and we enjoyed cooking dinner with a stunning view. it was also very quiet and felt very private. Definitely one of my favs and 100% will be back. thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage Caroline.

Beautiful Home, throughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect for families with having 2 living areas/lounges. Plenty of space to relax, great indoor outdoor flow. Couldnt have found a better place if we tried. We will definitely be back again.

Our stay was fantastic from start to finish! The space was immaculately clean, stylish, and incredibly cozy, making it feel like a true home away from home. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged, with all the essentials provided for a stress-free visit. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The host was kind, responsive, and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely book again without hesitation!

Lovely renovated house with a decent sized yard, fully fenced (albeit one gap so if you have small dogs, you most definitely need to supervise them) and within walking distance to cafes, restaurants and Four Square. Wifi details are on the fridge (ignore the details on this app). Christine was lovely and quick to respond. Great place to stay to explore the Deep South of NZ!

Wonderful place for a relaxing stay. Absolutely stunning scenery, and such a cosy spot. It was so wonderful to be able to bring our dog, too - he was in heaven running around, and having Sarah be so accommodating with him allowed us to relax even more. Lovely touches throughout like candles, and the fire ready to go if we needed it! The outdoor bath was also a fabulous treat that we thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be back!

Charming, rural cottage with lovely, relaxing garden and Karitane’s beaches within walking distance. The General Store is close by for coffee, meals or groceries. The holiday house is full of colourful art and very comfortable.

This is an older home with the quirky features of one, but most importantly it was CLEAN! The linens clean and fresh, kitchen and the rest of the home as well. Lots of room to spread out, lots of wood to keep us warm, many games, books and magazines. The puzzle coffee table was great and the evening found the family gathered around it. Location was good view o and close to the water. Highly recommend.

A great cottage on the outskirts of Invercargill surrounded by a beautiful garden. Spacious, clean and cozy. Heather and Ian are very kind and friendly hosts. I can highly recommend staying here!

Amazing location for those wanting a quiet coastal getaway. Beautiful sea and mountain views, short walk to Monkey Island and then onto the long sandy beach of Te Wae Wae Bay. Great basecamp for exploring other highlights of the southern coast. Well stocked with kitchen appliances and ingredients. Added bonus - the house is a recent build with superior insulation. Even though it was autumn with cold nights we were super cosy throughout our stay. (18-20 deg inside with no heaters on - wow!!)

The mattress was extremely firm, which for me is a positive thing as it meant I could sleep really well and not wake up with a sore neck or anything! The space is really cosy and relaxing, and I enjoyed spending time there on my trip rather than wanting to leave and get out to see the city. The self-check in was a breeze with the lockbox right beside the door. The only downsides were small aspects of the bathroom; the windows don't fully shut the draft out so it can cause the temperature to be quite cold in the middle of the night in the whole unit, and the shower is also very small because the curtain hangs inwards and kind of crowds you into the corner. However the water was hot and with good pressure so this is not even worth taking off one star, I would love to go back again any time.

Bull Creek is an absolutely lovely spot. Quiet and remote with lovely bush and beach walks. The neighbours were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Walking in the nearby bush being deafened by the bellbirds a definite highlight. Views from the house of the sea was spectacular and the coastal walks and seeing the seals and lots of birds was another highlight. All of us agreed that we would love to stay again.

This house is dreamy. Joris and Matt were also very lovely and always immediately responsive. The fireplaces were ready, kitchen is totally stocked, and the environment is perfect to unplug. Recommend a heli-tour!

we loved our stay at Alvin's. We were 2 families staying together. lots of space, secure yard for the dogs, so warm and the kitchen is very well equipped. Alvin was around to chat and very generously gifted us a huge feed of fresh blue cod - delicious! 🐟

What a beautiful little chalet! It was bigger than I thought it would be. I slept like a rock, had a wonderful outdoor bath watching the stars, and breakfast was delicious.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and relaxing place. The hot tub is amazing, and the personal touch of checking in to see if/when we wanted it lot every day was really kind. Whether it’s watching the stars by night or staring at the view by day, this is the perfect spot to do it from - comfortable and well-equipped.

Absolutely magical – a true home away from home! We stayed here for a week with our little pup and had the most incredible time. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed – Adelle and Greg had thought of everything. A beautiful welcome basket greeted us, complete with homemade stewed apples, fresh eggs, milk, butter, and baked goodies. The little touches continued throughout the home – luxurious shampoo, conditioner, and even a hair detangle spray! The bed was, hands down, the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in while away – with high-quality, lush bedding and soft, fluffy towelling that made every morning feel like a spa day. The views were breathtaking, and we loved spending our evenings soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the fireplace, and playing board games or flicking through books. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, and it made our stay feel so special. We can’t thank you enough – we’ll absolutely be back!
